Misaki's p.o.v

I arrived back to the joined house with Manager. I was still in daze from the conversation I had with Mamoru.

"You seem worried." Manager said and then he stretched out his arm, touching my forehead gently."You don't have a fever." He breathed out in relief.

I smiled. "You worry too much."

"Then stop making me worry." He added.

"Fine. I'll see you in the morning."

I watched him drive off and then went back inside, heading to my room. I deserved some sleep after this day.

A loud  crashing sound forced me to open my eyes. I could hear the loud crashing thunders and the rain that was pouring, the drops hitting my window. The sky was grey and the light was dimmed outside. I pulled the cover closer to my chest. Usually I fell asleep during thunders, it was rare to be woken up by one.

I got up and reached for my phone when I saw I had a missed call from Ranmaru. Oh no, we had promised to meet each other.

I instantly called him back.

"Hello." He picked up sounding calm.

" I know you must be angry but i really didn't hear the phone and...." I started panicking.

"I'm not angry." He answered.

Lie. That's what it was. " I am really, really sorry.."

"I told you I am not angry. I know why you didn't answer."

Huh? What??

"Ahhh.." I heard him sigh, and then i heard footsteps coming closer. The door to my room opened. Ran was standing there with the phone in his hands. He then hanged up.

"I saw you were sleeping so i didn't bother waking you up." He explained.

Stop stop. My heart can't take another cute attack. He was too sweet for me to handle.

He headed suddenly towards my mak eup stand and took a a cotton pad and some make up remover.

"Don't sleep with make up on." He said sitting down on my bed.

"I was too tired."

He poured some of the make up remover on the cotton pad and gently rubbed the make up off my face.

I closed my eyes, enjoying how gentle he was with me lately.

Once he was done, I opened my eyes and caught him staring at me with a soft smile.

"Let's go to the music room we usually sit in. It's not proper for me to stay here."

I was bit surprised he wanted to spend time with me, but maybe he was curious about the whole situation.

I changed in the hurry and then rushed towards the music room where he was waiting on me. The windows were a bit misted with drops of rain from the thunderstorm raging outside.

"So how was the meeting with your brother?" He asked sitting on the only couch in this music room.

I sat down next to him and told him the whole story.

"Is he stupid?" Ranmaru asked after I finished the story.

"Maybe he is." I sighed.

Instead of another pep talk, Ranmaru brushed his fingers through my hair pushing it back touching my face gently and then he caressed my hair with  a smile on his face.

I took his hand and brought it down to my lap. "Don't do that. It confuses me."

When he did sweet things like that I started believing he likes me back.

"What are you confused about?" He asked straight forwardly.

I refused to answer looking down at his hand. Instead I asked him another question.

"Have you dated before?" I found myself talking out loud.

"Yes." He answered.

"Have you kissed before?" I asked again.

"Why?"

"Just answer it."

"I have..kissed." He answered.

"See I haven't.. Dated nor kissed and this sort of things..a careless touch..misleads me. I can't tell apart if it's teasing or something more."

Suddenly he intertwined his fingers with mine as I held his hand.

"What if it's not misleading and it's exactly what you think?" He asked.

His eyes were locked on mine. That long stare was intense.

"What I think?" My voice was shaking.

He leaned closer touching my lips with his other free hand.

"How would you interpret this?" He asked.

"Like you want to kiss me." I whispered the words.

"Correct." He smirked and then he brushed his lips over mine.

It was so light so fast that it almost felt like it didn't happen.

He pulled away and smiled. "I'm making my intentions clear Misaki. Prepare your heart."

With that he stood up and left me alone in the music room to process what just happened.

Anyways... I think this is how Misaki would be dressed as the dark princess. ( I have no idea who does this work belong to)
