HEY! I know I'm supposed to add a one shot last week, it's like an unspoken rule here. Anyway, I have created something earlier and great timing that we don't have many things to work on on school tomorrow so I'm free to write! My inspiration for this one shot is Tuliro by spongecola. I was imagining a completely different scenario in my head but then I don't know why I came up with this. HAHAHA Of course, the song that I turned into an excerpt of Maine's poetry is created by SpongeCola so credits to them. Thank you for reading my previous creations and if you have more spare time, check out my parent trapped inspired fan fiction!

Thank you for dropping by!

Xoxo Poutylipschinita.

PS. I didn't do any proofreading so expect grammatical errors or sentences that doesn't make sense. HAHAHA  maybe I'll edit it when I have a free time.

I can't believe that it has been 10 years since I graduated high school. So many things have changed. Most of us have stable jobs now and we don't have to ask our parents for anything. Most of us achieved the dreams we had while we were staying in these rooms. We have our own relationships, others even started their own family. It's always good to be back in the place where you had your firsts. First legit and tight barkada, first inuman, first group-study-pero-gala-pala, first love, first heartbreak. I can't believe I want to cry just by walking through these halls. I can't believe I'm missing high school.

"Maine! Tara na Events Hall!" My best friend, Julia called me. I was walking in our halls in the high school department, I want to go back to our homeroom before but I think I'll go later after the party. It's a good idea for our batch's committee to hold the reunion in our renovated Events Hall in our old school. It's always good to go back to the place you once considered home.

Both Julia and I are working in a TV network. Julia is one of the floor directors of a noontime show while I'm one of the writers of a romantic comedy show that's currently running in primetime. We always hang out while I'm at the station or sometimes I'll watch as an audience in the noontime show. Even though, our barkada can't be together as often as we were in high school, we still find a way to see each other and catch up with our lives, Kami lang talaga ni Julia ang parating nagkikita.

The last time I saw Pauleen was at her own wedding, kakasal niya lang sa long time boyfriend niya and that was a month ago, I guess. It's one time that all of us are present at an event. We can't invite Pauleen at all of our get-togethers because she's an International Flight Attendant. As for Patricia and Sam, they just had their 3rd child and of course, I was one of the ninangs. Ruby is working as an architect in Dubai and I heard she's coming home for this reunion. And lastly, Pia is working as a celebrity stylist kaya the three of us, Pia, Julia, and I, are the ones that hang out most of the time.

We arrived at the hall and it was filled with food, music, and familiar faces. Kulang nalang is our uniforms and parang high school na ulit. Parang walang nagbago sa mga tao. The varsity players are already drinking and hanging out in the mobile bar even if the party is just starting. The people we thought that are going to be successful, well, they are successful with their own different fields. And of course, my one and only makulit na barkada already making havoc in our own table.
