So I just had this obsession of listening to the band Join The Club. They were one of my favourites in high school, I got really hooked after I saw the music video of Balewalang Pag-ibig and now, I know where I first saw Valeen, it was in that music video. You better check it out.

If you know me in person, you wouldn't believe that I have the capability to be this melancholic and I have this dark side in my heart where I just pour out the bad vibes, depressing kind of vibes. And I really think I can write genuinely and wholeheartedly in my times of vulnerability. I'm sorry but this isn't one of my works where I was vulnerable. HAHAHA I just want to share that to you because Balewalang Pag-ibig gave me that heavy feeling that I needed to be a able to write a very angst and melancholic piece but I don't know, maybe I'm just too happy at the moment so I wasn't able to write a piece I was expecting. HAHAHA

I would really love to hear your thoughts about my stories and check out Mending Hearts guys! Help me make it to a thousand reads! charot. Anyways, thank you for dropping by!

Xoxo Ames.

"Maine! Ano, sabay na tayo?" Pauleen asked her neighbour and childhood friend, Maine. Aside from Maine's best friend, Pia, Pauleen is the only one who sees right through Maine's facade. She thinks that everyone was so stupid to be convinced by Maine's smiles. For sure, they weren't as keen as her, her friend's smiles never reached her eyes.

Maine just flashed her infamous smile before speaking.

Don't, Meng. You can cry too.

Pauleen thought. She's hurting for her friend.

"I'm sorry Paoleng. May dadaanan pa kasi ako." Maine is trying hard to give everyone a smile. She doesn't want their sympathy and she doesn't want to bother anyone.

"Sasamahan na kita." Pauleen tried to volunteer.

"Naku, 'wag na sa kabilang bayan pa yun, maabala pa kita. Papagalitan ka ni Tita if ever malaman niya." Maine politely declined Pauleen.

"Hindi naman niya malalaman kung hindi natin sasabihin diba?" Pauleen had this glimmer of mischievousness in her eyes.

"Uy! 'wag mo akong isali jan!" Maine can only hide her uneasiness with laughter.

"Hoy Pauleen! Cleaners kaya tayo ngayon!" Their classmate, Vic shouted at them in the other side of the hallway where their home room is located.

"Ayan kasi Maine! Naabutan pa ako ng asungot na yun!" Pauleen brows furrowed, she doesn't like that Marvic at all. He tends to boss people around in their classroom.

"Luna! Hali ka na dito, gusto mo bang ako magbigay sa'yo ng walis? Ano ka sinuswerte?" Vic shouted.

Pauleen rolled her eyes and Maine can only giggle in her friends' banters.

"Ano ka ba! Hindi mo ba nakikita na kausap ko si Maine?" Pauleen shouted at Vic who is slowly approaching them.

"Anong kausap? Umalis na si Maine oh!" Pauleen turned to where her friend was standing, she wasn't there anymore.

"Ayan kasi Sotto eh! Tinakasan ako ni Maine. Diba andun tayo nung nangyari ang lahat?"

"She need this time, Pauleen. Let her be besides we have class duties." Vic shoved the walis to Pauleen's face and quickly ran off.
