HEY! I didn't do a double update today for the Mending Hearts but I think I'll update the next chapter tomorrow. Anyway, this is my one shot for the week! Since I consider nostalgia as a one shot from last week. I've been really inspired by OPM this week and this one shot was inspired by Love Team by Itchyworms and again, I had a different scenario in my head. I decided to have Shakespeare here. I'm a theater enthusiast myself, thanks to our theater class I became one. I'm thinking of having a one shot that involves them with a play. OOOOHHH!! That is going to be exciting for me! Anyway, here is my MaiDen One shot. Hope you like it!

The one I love is the girl I'm giving my whole being to. In this game of staring, the second I lay my eyes on her, I knew I'm already losing for I always find myself already drowning every tick of the clock. I hold her so close, I can smell the faint jasmine scent from her perfume, I caress her face. I'm ready to give up everything I have with this girl. This overwhelming feeling I have whenever I'm with her? I just- I just- want to burst! I don't know anymore how to express what I'm feeling. I've done everything. Everything.

I stare at her oh-so inviting lips. I suddenly gulped and readying myself to discover heaven here on earth. A little more and I will. A little bit-

"AND CUT!" The director said.

She quickly released herself from my hold. And me? Well, I'm left hanging. I'm starting to hate this life.

"Alden, great job. You're doing really great for a newbie." The director complimented him.

"Nako, thank you po." He humbly said his thanks.

"Ikaw naman Maine, be like Alden. He looked so in love with you earlier. Remember, this is your 5th love team, Maine. This is your last chance. The management would have to let you go if you don't want to give your best in this project. Forget about what happened to Miggy and focus on this project. You're a great actress Maine and I know this project will bring you back to the top." The director said.

"I know." She sighed.

"I'm sorry direk just give me 5. I will internalise Divina's feelings again." She timidly smile.

"Okay, Nico take 15." The director instructed the assistant director.

"OKAY GUYS, TAKE 15." Nico informed everyone on the set.

Maine sat in the park bench, a prop for this scene. Alden chose to sit on the other end too.

Maine Mendoza. The famous Maine Mendoza. The crush ng bayan. The comedy princess. She was known after her dubsmash videos went viral, a noontime show took her and that was her start of her career. Her fame skyrocketed when she was teamed up with Miggy, a host of that noontime show. The fans of the show loved the chemistry and closeness of the two, it pushed the management to make their love team official. They were such a huge hit. Everyone loved their movies, commercials together, and even their magazines were sold out the moment it hit the shelves.

They were a phenomenon.

Everyone was expecting that they would end up together. Their wish slowly came true when Miggy started to court Maine.
