Chapter 3

Woohoo chapter 3!

Sorry I haven't updated in like 6-7 days, I was in Florida visiting friends :P

The plane boarded half an hour late, there was a horrific amount of turbulence, and I went to bed around 1am after an exhausting day. uGh

Ok now to the chapter! :D

Katlyn's POV:

I turned around to see a sex god staring at me, towering over my height of 5'3" at 6'4". I got lost in his dark green eyes, and he made no move to stop looking into my golden brown eyes.

A fake cough pulled me out of my trance, but my mate still continued to shamelessly look over my body.

Justin growled and pulled me behind him, "I would appreciate it if you'd stop looking at her like she is a piece of meat."

My mate growled back at him, "I, Alpha of the Red Moon pack, can look at MY MATE however I please!"

I gasped, he was an alpha! 'I am going to be a Luna!' My wolf rejoiced.

'No! No no no! I don't care who he is I am sticking in the rogue life!'

My wolf growled, 'Stay with mate!'

I tuned her out as she began a rant.

"Katlyn... Is this true? Is he your mate?" Justin grabbed my shoulders forcing me to look at him before I was pulled back into a strong chest, tingles running up my spine, "Do NOT touch MY mate like that!"

"I've known her for years! I can touch her however I want! You don't even know her name." Justin fought back.

I was spun around to face to meet pine green eyes boring into me, "Now, my beautiful mate, what might your name be?" He asked huskily, making me shiver.

"Ka-k-at...... K-Katlyn..." I choked out and he chuckled making my heart flutter. "You can call me Caiden," he told me. "Hmm... Caiden." I repeated, making him shiver.

He took my petit hand in his large one and started to pull me away, "come with me, we have to inform everyone!"

My hand was harshly yanked out of his, "Not on my watch," Justin pulled me back.

"Katlyn, come," they both demanded simultaneously.

"DON'T TELL MY MATE WHAT TO DO!" Caiden snapped.

"MAKE ME!" Justin shouted, and before I could grasp what was happening, Justin and Caiden we in an all-out fist fight.

Justin threw a punch that hit Caiden square in the jaw.

'Save Mate!' My wolf yelled, 'Protect Mate!' I was too shocked to do anything, as I stood there helplessly, being irrelevant.

Caiden pounced on Justin, hitting him in the stomach and knocking him to the ground. Justin whipped his feet around, catching Caiden's right ankle, causing him to topple over. Justin got to his knees and prepared to stand while Caiden wasted no time thrusting his legs up and using the momentum to get into a standing position.

Right before the lunged at each other again, I jumped in the middle of them, placing a palm on each of their chests.

Their breathing regulated and they both looked at me waiting for me to do something.

Justin came closer, "I'll just catch you later," his eyes showed a flash of hurt, and he walked away without another word.
