Katlyn's POV:

He grabbed my hand and held it between both of his and held it to his heart.

I felt an amazing feeling inside when he held my hand over his beating heart.

I slowly raised my gaze up to his eyes.

He looked at me like I was the most amazing, precious, special thing in the whole wide world.

"One day you will be Luna of the Red Moon pack, and together we will rule, and have many MANY children-"

I yanked my hand back, wincing at the loss of contact. His eyes showed much hurt that he made no effort to hide.

I suddenly found the sand very interesting as a light crimson color tinted my cheeks and I mumbled, "isn't it a bit early for children...?"

Caiden laughed and cupped my face tilting my chin up, forcing me to look him in the eye, "I won't force you, I promise. But, you do realize we will have to have pups someday."

I shook my head and chuckled, "Oh, my dear Mr. Alpha," I put a finger on his chest and ran it down to the end of his abs, "you'll have to catch me first."

I swiftly pulled away, spun on my heel and ran to find Justin.

Not here...

Not there...

Or there...

Where could he be!?

Not there either.

I spotted a head of jet black hair and bright blue eyes.

I paused to laugh at the scene:

A slutty red head clung onto his arm with her fake nails, shrieking a high pitched laugh as he politely tried to push her off, but to no avail.

I rolled my eyes and walked over, throwing my arms around his neck, "hey baby! Lets go over there and talk in private."

He caught on and kissed my cheek, "hey, honey! Sure thing!"

When we got far enough away I gave him my best puppy dog face, "Justin, please, please, please, please, please, pleaseeeee forgive me!" I begged urgently.

He tapped his chin with his finger, pretending to think about it, "now, why should I?"

"Well, for starters I could always call that red head over here and tell her you're all hers..."

His eyes widened but I held out my hand to stop him, "And, the usual story of: 'my alpha mate is trying to find me to bring me in stage and announce us then bring me back to a pack house to me Luna'." I added nonchalantly.

"Woah! Look at the time- so late, better head off, yeah? Lets go!"

He grabbed my hand and started weaving through the crowd, trying to blend in with everyone else while getting as far away from Mr. Possessive as possible.

Caiden's POV:

I shook my head at her this time.

She didn't know a few things about me:

1. I get what I want

2. I have the best tracking team in the US

3. I LOVE a good chase

Oh, my dear Katlyn, prepare yourself for the ride of a lifetime.
