For some upcoming chapters, I'm going to mention a song at the beginning to set the mood.

Only some.

Would you like that?

I hope so c:

And into the chapter we go!

Katlyn's POV:

I put on some blue sneakers, dark skinny jeans that made my legs look long and a tight, white tank top to show my figure with a push-up bra.

I tied my hair in a tight high ponytail and put on some EOS with clear lipgloss on top.

Smiling at my reflection, I headed downstairs and began to wait.

"Give it back!"

"No! It's mine!"

"You have to share!"

"Not if it's mine I don't!"

I turned around to see a young boy and a young girl fighting over a toy horse.

Sitting next to them, I asked, "What's wrong?"

The little girl pointed at the boy, "Joshy won't share!"

"It's Josh! Not Joshy!" He stamped his foot.

They both pouted and turned away from each other.

"I see why your both upset- it's not very fun playing with a horse action figure."

They both turned to me even more upset than before, but I continued, "But, I'll tell you both a secret. It's super fun to play horsey without the doll!"

"How?" Josh wiped his tear-stained eyes.

"Like this," I said having Josh kneel down and I put the girl on his back, "there! Real horsey rides!"

They both cheered.

"Thank you. I'm Sadie," the little girl told me.

She elbowed him and whispered, "say thank you!"

He grumbled and rubbed his arm that she elbowed, "thank you."

"What's your name?" Sadie asked.

"I'm Katlyn," I told her with a smile.

"You're really pretty," Josh said blushing.

"You trying to steal my girl?" Caiden said, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"She can't be your girl, she's too nice," Sadie told him.

"Usually, 'your girls' are really mean, and they don't even play with us, they usually tell us to be quiet! Especially Jennipoop-" Caiden cut her off, "okay, that's enough-" but I cut him off, "Jennipoop?"

So childish and adorable.

Yet, so accurate.

Both the kids nodded.

"I love that name! Sometime we'll think of more names for her," I promised them.

"Yay!" They both cheered.

"And she's ugly!" Josh wrinkled his nose in disgust and I laughed.

"Yeah," Sadie continued, "she draws on her face with too many crayons. My mommy told me not to do that."

I bust out laughing, and high-fived them both.

"Are you going to not come back again tomorrow just like the other girls?" Josh asked me innocently.
