"i've gotta go soon sky" michael said quietly as he shifted in his seat at the kitchen table. michael had practically spent the whole weekend with skylar and he wasnt too happy to have to leave.
"why??" skylar whinned as she pushed her bowl of soup away. she had managed to get a little sick over the passed couple of days and michael hated to have to leave her like this.
"i have to go check out some houses with my friend cal" michael said quickly as he stood up from the table
"dont go." skylar whinned as she coppied michaels actions
" i have to sky." michael stiffled a laugh
"i-" skylar began to say before she started to cough
" are you alright?" michael asked softly as he began putting on his shoes
"yeah. i'm...fine" skylar said as she forced a smile
"good. i'll be back in a week" michael said quickly before standing up
"a week?!" skylar said as her voice cracked
"i'm sorry i didnt tell you sooner, cal and i are going to check out alot of places" michael said as he started walking towards the door
"oh." skylar said, tears brimming at the corners of her eyes
"i'll text you" michael said before finally leaving
"ok." skylar said before collapsing to the floor in tears
