day 13; part 4-my love

"sky?" michael said slowly as he walked into the cold, small, hospital bedroom marked 'critical'

"mikey?" skylars whisper barely audible

"oh my god sky? are you alright?" michael said softly, trying his best not to break down in front of her and freak her out

"no." skylar said as she coughed before sitting up slowly in the bed

michael quickly sat down next to skylar on the bed, imediately wrapping his arms around her

"you know.... they said i might die?" skylar said slowly, wincing at the words she had just said

"no. no, you won't. i won't let it happen and neither will you sky." michael said as he nodded his head in disbelief

"it's not really my choice michael" skylar stiffled a laugh before a single tear ran down her pale cheek

"but you're strong. we can get through this Sky. i know we can" michael smiled, trying to stay positive

"look at me michael. i'm weak, i can barely talk to you without struggling to breath a minute later." skylar said softly

"it's all luke's fault. if you die, i'm killing him" michael said through gritted teeth

"no. please don't hurt luke, he's a good guy. " skylar said before coughing again

"but he did this to you. and he's not getting away with it" michael said before he finally gave in and let his emotions take over

"goodbye, michael" skylar said before passing out cold

"sky!?" michael screamed before 3 nurses and a doctor rushed in, one of them pulling michael out of the room quickly

"what happened? is she gone? is she ?" michael said slowly before his vision started to blur

"she's....gone"

was the last thing he heard before he let the darkness take over him.

"she's gone."
