I felt my eyes slowly open. They felt so heavy and like they had weights tied on them forcing them to close but I wasn't tired at all so I tried my hardest to try and open them fully. I tried to move my hands but they couldn't go far, only to my mouth as they were handcuffed to a chain and that was tied to the legs of my chair. I tried to move my feet instead and although I could move them more than my hands I still couldn't move them a lot.
I finally realised that my hands had been tied behind my back as I moved them more and the metal rubbed on my skin caused friction and for my wrists to become sore and irritated. My grey eyes shot open when I realised that not only were my hands tied but also my feet were too and I had absolutely no idea how it happened, my mind was blank.
I was finally fully awake and my eyes didn't feel so heavy. My vision roamed around the room seeing two walls covered in only a grey paint, or was it paint? Was it just the concrete wall colour? I really couldn't tell as my mind wasn't thinking straight. The other two walls which were opposite each other were only half grey as the other half (the top half) was just windows with blinds on them. As I looked around even more I noticed that around the windows there were multi-coloured fairy lights as who ever owned this place was ready for Christmas.
Suddenly a man with naturally jet black hair parted slightly to the left and with a fringe which came to his thick, black, straight eyebrows stood right in front of me. He had ice blue eyes with a slight glint of green in them as I looked him straight in the eyes. The man was wearing loose navy trousers which were held up with a black belt and a white shirt, tucked into his trousers, with a some sort of badge on the arms. I tried to looked at what the badge was but as soon as he looked over at me he leaned over a chair and on the table to get a closer look at me.
He smiled.
"Are you feeling any better?" he asked me. His voice was deep, mysterious and very strong while his eyes just continued to stare in to mine.
I stared at him back, blinking a few times as I had only just woken up and he seemed to be expecting a full conversation.
"I..." I stumbled "I.. Where am I?" I asked him feeling my voice go at the end of the sentence as my head fell near my chest as my neck gave in
"You fell" the man before me told me as he smiled yet again pulling himself off the table and straightening himself up and then walking off to his right to the counter which had a sink, a few plates, a microwave, mini oven and kettle.
"Here" he walked back over with a plate in both hands. He placed one in front of me and one in front of himself also as he took the seat opposite me. He had made us both a cooked meal, chicken and chips.
I looked down at the plate and then looked up to the man. He had a name tag on but my vision was still slightly blurry but I could see he was eating but still staring at me.
"You should probably eat" he politely said to me, covering his mouth while he was eating and then took his hand away once he finished the sentence.
I just looked at him not answering him as everything began to finally kick in. I looked at his name badge again and my vision cleared as I read the name 'Thomas.'
"Tom" I said "What am I doing here?" I had to ask as I genuinely had no idea but it was just me and him alone.
"You're safe here" his only reply was as he took another mouthful of the chicken off the end of his fork. He seemed really concerned that I wasn't eating the food he had cooked me but I just wasn't hungry.
"Really you should eat" he said
"I'm not hungry"
"I thought you liked chicken?"
"I do" I only said as I had no other reply but I had so many questions instead.
He looked at me, coldly, probably wondering why I was giving short answers but I thought he would of known.
I looked around the room even more and noticed something on the end of the table we were sitting around. I could feel tears being created in my eyes and one finally dropped down my left cheek as it brought back all of the memories and then thinking of the situation I was in now.
