Chapter One.

I sat at my desk as usual and began typing my name in to the computer and then my password which had to be over ten letters long with atleast three numbers in because the security of the place had to be high. I typed my password in when there appeared an error on the screen that I had typed my password or username in wrong.

"What?" I thought to myself but then remembered how long my password had to be and there could of been an easy mistake.

I typed it in again but slower, tapping each individual letter and number one at a time and making sure I pressed the right button. Once again a message with error written on it popped up on my screen. I was so confused. All of my work was on there, I needed to sign in and get to my emails.

I once again tried to sign in typing my password in much slower with my hands flinging right in the air above my head with a weird sarcastic smile on my face but the same happened again. Some sort of error.

What was going on?

Three women wearing knee length skirts all walked past in a line, all carrying coffee's in their right hand and walking completely in sync. All of them looked at me at exactly the same time. They were like the terrible trio. I stared back at them, expressionless as in my work I was above them any way and we didn't get on so there was no reason to smile. Hayley who was the closest to me as they walk on had never got on with me. She chewed her gum still staring. The blonde woman always thought I was sleeping with the manager to get the job I was going to get, soon.

After the women passed, two men dressed in smart suits. Both navy and red and white stripped ties. They were best friends and always wore things in sync. It was a little odd but you knew straight away who they were and that they were best friends. It's quite cute to be honest. Brett who was the furthest male out the two away from me lifted his head and looked directly at me. He smiled.

I watched as more women and men passed as I remained slumped in my soft chair feeling weirded out that I couldn't sign in on the area as I knew my password off by heart.

It felt like the whole room was beginning to spin when I took my vision off the people just walking in and getting down to their own business.

I got up out of my seat and walked over to the manager who stood by the edge of the office next to the stair door and stopped him in the conversation with other worker here.  I was only in today for 2 hours this Sunday anyway just for the money I was trying to save up for my extra work next year.

"Hey, Christian, I'm not feeling too good, I'm going to go home." I looked at him before wondering outside the building taking a deep breath in. The night before was a pretty rough night as I didn't get much sleep. I couldn't.

I walked out the building and stood on the step just outside and took a huge breath in to try and get my head and thoughts straight. I watched the man who walked past the building in front of me and smiled, checking him out. He was rather attractive but I was way too involves with myself to even approach anyone. As I walked further out I pulled my fitted white blouse down slightly to cover up if any of my stomach was showing and began to make my way back home. The sky was a dull colour as it was 6pm and my house was only a 15 minute walk away so I continued in my way until there was an usual rattling in the bushes opposite my work place. My head quickly shot across to them but there was nothing unusual there.

I stared a while hoping I would notice something there but I couldn't see anything. I stop still and looked at the bush a little while longer trying to see anything but it just seemed.....normal. I looked behind me to see if anyone was around but nobody was and I caught myself smiling as I slowly turned back and made my way home.

I got home at about 6:23pm as I took a slower walk than usual as the incident with the bushes made me think a little but I wasn't really the paranoid type of person anyhow so as soon as I walked through my front door it was already off and out of my mind. I threw my keys on the table which was in the centre of the living room with the two white leather sofas facing each other.

I moved slower towards the sofa and then took my seat on the furthest one away. I picked up the remote which was on the seat next to me which I left there this morning and pressed the button on it to turn it on. Family Guy was on, it was always on, it's my favourite programme so it was pretty much always on my telelvision when I turned it on. I relaxed my neck and head on the back of the sofa and really relaxed my whole body to the point where I finally nearly fell asleep but I wanted to watch the programme for the humour that's in a family life.

I looked over to the back door which was behind me that lead into the kitchen. Every single night I would look at that door because althought I wasn't a paranoid person I always had the a strange feeling about the it. It had a cold feeling about it and even the last person that I had around my house they kept looking at the back door too. Seeming very suspicious of it.

I sat and watched Family Guy for another hour which the last one was "Peter-assment" (my favourite) before putting on the film 'The Dark Knight Rises' while nearly falling asleep half way through. I lay down across the sofa cuddling up to the cushion, feeling how comfy it can it.

It reminded me of a cat I once used to own but then one day, I just never saw it again.

Well I say I owned it. I owned it for one night only.

I got comfy as I lay my head on the cushion to the point my eyes closed and the film went off.

Although my eyes were closed I didn't feel fully asleep.

I know I wasn't fully asleep.

I opened my eyes at around 1am with my cushion on the floor and my whole body spread across the sofa. My mouth was closed and turned away from the television until I fully opened my eyes wide and realised the film had gone off. I swung my legs around and walked over to the television to turn it off. I hit the button and then turned back around to pick up the cushion off the floor when I noticed something different outside. There was a beaming red light aiming right in to my living room. The light was small and not very powerful but I noticed it was aiming right at me. I took a few steps closer and squinted my eyes to get a better view of what on Earth it was. There was a greyness around the red light and that's when it finally hit me that it was a video camera.

I was being recorded.

Someone was recording me.
