Chapter 9 Get This Psychopath Off Me
Devon's POV
The first day of the flu I felt like shit, I puked, my nose was stuffed up, I didn't feel like eating, and I couldn't decide whether I was burning hot or freezing cold. It was hell. The second day was slightly better. The Dom's and Sub's took care of my every need, feeding me, helping me change out of my sweat covered clothing. Cine even helped me take the thing Sean put in, out with the Dom's permission of course. I think Cine was the best choice for that job because he always looks like he's planning your death. I haven't seen him smile once, except for the time he was on the 'Good List' as the Dom's called it. But anyways, it's hard to be embarrassed around someone like that.
Everyone treated me so nicely, it was nice. The only problem was I was so done with laying in bed. It was boring. I got up and started moving around but that didn't go over well with Reagan, she said, and I quote "sit your ass down, and let us take care of you" and she was the soft one. After that they made a point to have someone with me at all times, to make sure I wasn't putting a strain on my body by moving around too much. The third day I felt more embarrassed then sick. All the memories of what happened with Sean came rushing back. Begging him to finger fuck me, him shoving something up my ass, and most of all... Cuddles.
We cuddled? Urg! Just thinking about it makes my face flame up. Why was I so clingy last night? That's not me, I don't need anyone. Then why did I need him? I struggle with my inner conflict. Pulling at my hair as my own brain starts confusing me.
The fourth day I wake up feeling like a new man. I even got a plan now.
Looking over at the clock, it's 6:14 AM. I take a quick shower, get dressed, and silently creep downstairs to make breakfast. I crack two eggs in a pan and put two pieces of bread in the toaster. After the eggs are done and the toast popped up, I put the eggs between the two pieces of toast and set a cheese slice on top. It felt good to finally be able to do something for myself again, and it tasted even better. My teeth sunk into the breakfast sandwich I made, with a loud moan. It was so good, I quickly took another bite.
After having almost no appetite for three days, I was ready to raid the fridge. After I demolished the sandwich, I grabbed a box of cereal and went to my bedroom to start my homework. It's just one of those days you feel like accomplishing things just because you can. My use to be social worker, Sarah sent me the rest of my schoolwork for the semester, over e-mail. I was also informed that after this semester, since I'm going to graduate this year I will have to get a job. I get too keep all the money and I don't have to pay rent where I'm staying, it's pretty much just for responsibility sake.
I did an physiology paper and finished 3 essays for other subjects all while ramming lucky charms into my mouth. Someone knocked on the door and I looked up with a mouth full of marshmallows. "Devon are you awake?" Reagan asked softly. "Come in!" I yelled as I continued working on some textbook work. "What are you doing?!" She gasps. I look up and roll my eyes "I feel fine" I tell her. She ran over to me as if she didn't hear what I said, but I knew better. She put her hand on my forehead "your fevers gone" she brightened.
"I told you, I'm fine" I repeat. She smirks at me "if your fine then I can't let you get away with being so disrespectful." I look at her then violently jerk my head to the side as I (fake) cough into my hand. "I'm still recovering." She giggles, then looks at me sternly "don't roll your eyes at me again, mister" she says before leaving the room. I smile. She's so fun and playful, yet still somehow manages to be all Dom like.
Cine walks into the room, quietly going to his bed. "Hey Cine. I haven't seen you much the last few days, which is odd because we share a room" I say thoughtfully. "I don't do sick people" he says as he opens up a book and starts tracing his eyes across the page. I take that as my cue to shut up, because he isn't exactly giving off that friendly vibe. Though that hasn't stopped me before.
I click the send button and fist-pump the air triumphantly. Yes! I just sent in the rest of the schoolwork I need to do for the semester. Wohoo, I'm 3 weeks ahead! I've never gotten done this early before, in my life. "This calls for a celebration!" I whoop, before tossing another handful of fruit-loops into my mouth. Cine eye'd me wearily. "Are you always this loud?" Cine says with a glare. "Pretty much" I confirmed, with a laugh.
He glanced up at me from the corner of his eye, when I started humming. He set down his book and took off what I assume to be his reading glasses, because I've only seen him wear them when he's reading. I looked at him as he grabbed something out of a bag, and walked towards me with the item hidden behind his back. "What ya got there?" I ask as he continues to stalk towards me.
No answer. Cine stops in front of me. He silently stares at me for a second, before jumping on top of me and forcing my mouth open. My hands flail around trying to get this psychopath off of me. The small round object sits on my tongue as Cine ties it together at the back of my head.
Next thing I know he is sitting on his bed once more, with a book in his hand. Speaking of hands, he didn't tie up mine. Why would someone go and do this to someone else and not restrain the other persons hands or feet? I could just go up to him and punch him in the face right now, if I wanted to.
I try to undo the gag Cine put on me, but I can't get my hands to the back of my head while at the same time undoing the buckle on the back. It's impossible. My hands fumble with the straps for the last time. I glare at Cine "fuck you!" I shout, but it comes out as more of a mumbled "fuush woow!" Saliva drips down my chin and I quickly wipe it away.
Storming out of our room I look for someone to help me get this ridiculous contraption off my face. I curse my way down the hall, not caring about the stupid rules. Even if they did hear me I doubt they would even know what I'm saying, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
I bump into something as I enter the living room. Looking up i see it's not a thing, it's a person. Helen, to be exact. She looks down at me with a look of exasperation. Not even surprised by this, she says "Cine?" With one of her eyebrows raised in question. But by the way she said it I could tell she only asked as a formality, she already knew the answer. I nodded anyways.
"Don't irritate Cine, for all are sanity" she sighed. Reaching around she started to undo the gag "he has some aggressive solutions for when things don't go his way." Once the gag was finally off, I moved my stiff jaw around. "I see that" I say as I continue stretch my jaw muscles. "He's in for it now" I huff as I roll up my sleeves and go stomping down the hallway.
"Don't be too hard on him" Helen laughed, then added "and no physical violence, mister!"
