Chapter 29 Special Buddies
Devon's POV
Me, Sean, Max, Izzy, Ashly, Ash, Cine, and Tod, all piled into the van to drive to my birthday surprise. Whatever it is I'm super excited, in fact I'm over the moon, thrown into hyperspace, and whizzing through a black hole right now.
Neco is driving the other van. Both vans are at full capacity, 8 people per van, we would of been one seat short but Helen was still gone, dealing with her family thing. Whatever that might be, I hope she comes back soon, it's just not the same without her serious face nagging you every time you do something potentially dangerous.
I stared out the window in front of me as the the the van rattled on the rocky road. We hit a bump and Ashly's shoulder crashed into mine causing me to slam into Tod. Clink. Clink. Clink. Like three dominos falling to the table. Tod looked down at me with a grin "happy birthday, and sure you can lean on my shoulder" he said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and got out of his personal space bubble.
"You might consider being nicer to the birthday boy" Sean chuckles.
"Wah I'm so nice" he says dramatically as he grabs my head and pulls it into his chest, to be squished. "See what are you talking about were the best of friends, might I even say special buddies" Tod continues as he pets my head.
"We get it, we get it, you guys are so close your like two penises in an asshole. Now let the man breath" Ash says crudely as he peeks over his phone at us.
"Well as long as you understand that" Tod says as he let's go of my head and straightens out his shirt.
Fixing my hair "we're not special buddies" I grumble.
A few people laugh at my response. I angrily puff out my cheeks and turn around in my seat "and you!" I point at Ash. "Don't edge him on" I tell him. Ash smirks and his eyes snap up to me from his phone "I would never edge someone, I sure hate being edged" Ash makes another perverted joke. A few people laugh including Sean, but as soon as he stops he tells me to sit properly in my seat. I mumble a few punishment worthy words under my breath but I do as told.
The rest of the ride is pretty silent, until... The car stops in front of Chucky Cheese!
