you know those demons
the little critics
inside your head
telling you that
you are
unattractive,
fat,
stupid,
mean,
untalented.
the thing is
we created these critics.
by comparing
ourselves
with others.
we end up
striving for some unrealistic
version of ourselves.
i really want you to know:
we all deal with these demons.
everyone does at least a little bit.
but you can control what you think.
you need to lower
those screams
to whispers.
don't compare yourself to anyone else.
because you are you.
and that is the most
amazing thing you could ever
ask for.
