Jackson's POV
I watched as she started to fall with closed eyes. She looked almost peaceful while slumbering.
I had the need to make sure she was safe. So I brought her to my house as she slept peacefully in my arms.
"Don't worry Dove. All will be well soon." I whisper against her ear, though more to myself.
She was safe.
For now.
She curled up to my chest, and suddenly I felt whole. The hole in my chest left by my brother seemed to close itself, and I was at ease- calm almost.
Almost.
I laid Dove in my king sized bed once we got into my large room waiting for her to wake up.
Night soon fell over the sky, yet my Dove still hasn't woken from her death like sleep.
I was starting to worry a bit, but soon my fears were chased away when her eyes slowly fluttered open and looked to where I was sitting at the foot of the bed.
"Jackson?" Her voice asks wearily.
"Sleeping beauty finally awakens. Someone alert the media." I laugh causing her to scowl at me, trying not to crack a smile.
Her eyes wander around the room as she sits up, then land back on mine.
"Where am I exactly?"
"My place." I say while standing on my feet.
"O-oh...why?" She questions worriedly.
Didn't she know I wouldn't do anything to her?
"Don't freak out. You're here because you passed out on school grounds and I didn't know where you lived." the lie slipped out before I could stop it.
Yes I knew where she lived...
"Well, thanks I guess." I heard her mumble.
Suddenly she frowned and looked down, resulting a frown to write itself on my face. I already miss her smile.
"Dove?" I call worriedly walking over to her.
"Yea....?"
"What's wrong?"
"I just need answers-" she springs up from the bed right in front of me getting in my face a little. "And I need them now." She finishes.
I put my hands on her shoulder. "Dove calm down."
"No!" She yells throwing my hands off her and moves away from me. "Don't tell me to calm down!"
Rude.
Interrupting people isn't very nice.
"If-"
