LIZZIE'S POV
___________________________

I just woke up and I realized that it's Friday!!!!

I went to my closet and picked out black legging and a Shawn Mendes sweat shirt. I love him! I went to the  bathroom. Brushed my teeth, did my hair and put on mascara and that's it.

I went down stairs and got a apple.

"Good morning Matt." I said

"Good morning Lizzie." He responded.

"Can you bring me to school today? I don't want to get on the bus." I asked.

"Of course! I picking up Nash and Hayes anyways. Do you know them?" He asked.

"I Know Hayes because he helped me yesterday.." I answered.

"Oh.. Well you will meet Nash today." He told me.

"Ok!" I said with a smile on my face.

****
"Hey guys." Matt says as Hayes and Nash get into the car.

"Hey Lizzie" Hayes says to me.

"Hey. And again, Thank you so much for helping me yesterday!" I said.

"You don't have to thank me." He told me. I smiled.

"Hayes do we have any classes together?" I asked.

"I think we have math and English together." He said with a smile. I smiled back.

The rest of the ride was silent, but it wasn't awkward.

I walked in school with Hayes and everyone stared at us.
I went to my locker and got my books and tried my best to get to class before Brianna saw me, but I was to late.

"Hey bitch!" Brianna said and pushed me into the wall.

"What do you want Brianna?" I asked scared.

"I want you to suffer!" She said and punched me in the stomach.

Then kicked me to the ground and started kicking me in the stomach.

"Agh!!" I screamed and Hayes heard me.

"Get away from her Brianna!" Hayes yelled running toward us.

"Fine! But you better watch your back Lizzie!" She said laughing with her gang and walked away.

Hayes helped me up and he brought me to his locker.

"Are you okay?" He asked with worry in his eyes.

"I think so." I answered.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes Hayes. I'm okay." I said and he nodded and was about to walk away.

"Wait Hayes." I said walking up to him as he stopped.

"Why do you keep helping me?" I asked.

"Because I don't want you to get hurt anymore than you already are." He said looking into my eyes.

"Well, thank you for that!" I thanked him.

"Could I have your number?" He asked.

"Only if I can have yours." I said and we smiled. I took his phone and put in my number and he took my phone and did the same.

We both separated and went to our classes.

****

I walked into my room and layed on my bed as my brother came in my room.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey, do you wanna go over Hayes's with me??" He asked.

"Sure!" I answered excitedly.

We walked down stairs and out to his car and drove to Hayes's house.

****

I knocked on Hayes's door and he answered.

"Hey come in." He said opening the door wider for me to come in.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing." He answered.

"Do you want to go do something like go to the park or something??" I asked.

"Sure, just one second." He said walking To his closet and grabbing a jacket.

"Let's go." He said and we raced down stairs.

****

"Lizzie I got something to show you." He said.

"Okay..." I said.

He walked me over to a tree. What?? You wanted to show me a tree??

"Let me help you get up there." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Just do it. There's something up there I want to show you." He told me.

He helped me up there and I sat there.

"What do you want me to look at??" I asked.

"Do you see the cravings on the tree??" He asked.

I looked around the tree and I saw it. There was cravings of  him and his family.

"Yea" I answered.

"I craved  that when I was five. And now I want you to crave something." He said giving me a rock.

I took the rock and craved a heart. Why your asking. Because I think I'm getting  feelings for Hayes....

"What did you crave??" He asked.

"A heart" I answered.

"Why?" He asked.

"I don't know. I feel like it belongs there." I said.

"You crave something." I said giving him the rock.

"Ok" He said.

I got down and Hayes got up.

****

"What did you crave??" I asked.

"Your name." He answered.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because it belongs there."
