Chapter Six

LIZZIE'S POV

I woke up to the smell of bacon and Hayes Grier's arm around me.

"Hayes.." I shook Hayes.

"Hayes!" I shook and yelled a little.

"Hayes!!" I said and he woke up.

"What?" He groaned.

"Get up." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because breakfast is ready." I answered.

"Fine.." He gave in.

He got up, put a shirt on and we made our way down stairs.

"Good morning guys!" I said in a good mood.

"Good morning." Nash and Matt said at the same time.

"Where's mom?" Hayes asked.

"She went to work." Nash answered.

We sat down a dived into breakfast.

Today's Sunday, so that means there's school tomorrow. Yay!! Note the sarcasm.

I don't know what where doing today-

"LIZ!!" Hayes said yelling in my face.

"What?" I asked and just realized I zoned out for 3 minutes.

"You zoned out." He laughed.

"Sorry." I laughed with him.

"What's the plans for today?" I asked everyone.

"I don't know. What about we shopping or something?" Matt suggested and I loved that idea.

"Please?!" I begged.

"Sure." Nash said.

"Yay!!" I said like a little kid and everyone laughed at me.

Me and Matt drove to our house and got ready. I wore a red crop top that said "Yolo" on it and some bleached booty shorts.

I went to my bathroom and got on the shower. I got out put on my clothes I picked out, I brushed my teeth, I dried my hair and left it natural and put some mascara on.

"Are you ready yet?!?" Matt yelled out.

"Yup!!" I yelled back and quickly grabbed my red vans with some money and ran down stairs.

We got in the car and drove back to Hayes's.

"What stores do want to go in?" I asked Hayes.

"I don't know... Ummm.. What about we go in the vans shop?" He asked.

"Sure!" I answered.

We went into the shop and looked around a little bit.

"Hayes what do you think of these shoes?" I held up light blue vans.

"There nice! I think they will fit you." He said with a smile and I couldn't do anything else but smile back.

That's all I bought and Hayes bought. Vans shirt.

We then went to Forever 21 because why not.

I picked out two flannels, some leggings and a couple shirts.

After that, we made our way over to Starbucks.

"I will order a cotton candy frap please." I said.

"I will have iced white chocolate mocha please." Hayes said.

"I will pay." I told Hayes.

"No I will pay." Hayes was about to hand the money to the worker but I stopped him and gave him my money.

"Why did you want to pay so badly?" Hayes asked.

"It's the best I can do for all the times you helped me." I said and smiled and looked in his eyes.

"You didn't have to-" Hayes was saying but I cut him off.

"But I wanted to." I responded and smiled and he smiled back.

We got our drinks and sat at a table.

"Can I have a sip?" Hayes asked me.

"Why? You haven't tried it before?" I asked.

"No.." He answered.

"Here." I said handing him my drink. He took a sip and he eyes went big.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"It's to sweet!" He said and laughed and of course I laughed too because nobody can not laugh when hearing his laugh.

We went to a couple more stores, bought more stuff, but after we called Matt and Nash to come pick us up.

We got back to Hayes's house and me and Hayes went up into his room.

"Hayes, I don't want to go to school tomorrow." I said.

"I know you don't, but everything will be okay," Hayes said and gave me a hug. His hugs are the best hugs. He hold you so tight.

"Hayes I should go now." I said getting up.

"Ok. Text me later." He said and I nodded and left his room and walked down stairs.

"Matt, are you ready to leave now?" I asked.

"Yea, let's go." He answered.

"Cya man." Matt said to Nash.

"Cya" Nash said back.

We walked out and went home.

I really hope Hayes was right about tomorrow...
