MADDIES POV

We had to leave Matts room because they had to do more testes on him.

I'm really scared, I've been crying for the past 4 hours we've been here. I just can't believe this had to happen to her.

We're all sitting in the waiting room.

Hayes is not talking. Nash on the other hand, has had his face buried in Cams chest the whole time.

Hayes is just like Liz, he don't really show his emotions. Today was the first time I've seen him cry.

He cares a lot about Liz.

Shawn, a few tears rolled down his face but he haven't said anything.

"Maddie." Shawn said.

"Yeah?" I asked wiping away some tears before looking up at him.

"Are you hungry?" He asked.

"No. But, could you get me a bottle of water?" I asked.

"Sure, babe. Be right back." He said and kissed the top of my head before walking away.

"Hayes." I said.

He looked over at me.

I patted the seat next to me telling him to come over.

He got up and came over.

"Hayes, everything will be okay." I said.

"You don't know that." He said.

"No, but just have hope." I said.

"I know, but I just can't think about that maybe she won't make it and I won't see her again." He cried.

"I know, just thinking that I might not see her smile again makes me cry." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.

Hayes hugged me and cried on my shoulder.

"I can't lose her, Maddie." Hayes cried.

"I can't either." I cried.

"Hayes Grier?" Someone asked.

We let go and looked at the doctor.

"Lizzie is in a really bad condition but she will make it." The doctor said.

I smiled at Hayes and he smiled at me.

"But, she still has one more surgery. She was really badly injured by impact but she will be fine." The Doctor smiled.

Hayes hugged me.

"I told you everything will be okay." I smiled.

I let go and smiled at him.
