Elliot's POV

After my few days in Dallas I took a flight back to New York, I'll be really happy to get back home to my wife and kids because it's been too long. I just made it to the airport in Dallas and checked in my bags then got a drink before the flight. When time came I got on the plane and we took off. I fell asleep along the way and woke up just as we were landing, we arrived around midnight and took a cab to my house. Everyone was fast asleep, so after my shower I climbed into bed next to my wife and fell asleep beside her. The shift of weight in the bed must have woken her, she turned to me and asked "when did you get in?" I replied saying "not long, I didn't mean to wake you"

Liv: you didn't wake me, I'm just glad your home. I missed you so much

I missed you too, you know I've been thinking about things. Mostly you and me. I realized that I got so luck with you and I want to renew our vows for our upcoming anniversary

Olivia: El I love you and your sweet, but that's less than a week away. Your family isn't all in new York, so it will be a difficult task and I already have too much on my plate. It's the thought that counts and that was sweet

I just wanted us to do something special because your the most important woman in my world

Olivia: knowing that is enough for me and I know it hasn't been an easy few weeks, so there's no pressure at all

I want to make you happy

Olivia: baby you do that everyday. I'm at my happiest being Mrs stabler, being your wife and being a mommy and step mommy to our kids. I'm happy with you babe, never doubt that

I love you so much, I'm one lucky man having found myself a woman like you. Your amazing

Olivia: well your not so bad yourself. I've had to sleep all alone in this big bed for far to long, I need to feel my husband's touch to know that I'm loved

I started kissing her neck and pulled her close as I took off her top. She was only wearing one of my NYPD t shirts and absolutely nothing underneath, so she was now completely naked

Were you expecting company Mrs Stabler?

Olivia: I might have fallen asleep waiting a certain husband of mine to show up

Well he's here to give you what you've been waiting for

Olivia: I think it's about time

I started kissing her neck and made my  way up to her lips, her hands roamed through my hair as I deepened the kiss. The moment was absolutely perfect until Sofia walked in holding her favorite teddy bear

Sofia: daddy there are monsters under my bed. Can I sleep with you and mommy please?

I picked her up in my arms as liv covered herself with the sheets. I walked her back into her bedroom and turned on the lights then checked under her bed 

Sofia: do you see him daddy?

Princess there are no monsters and if your scared remember that daddy won't let anyone hurt you. I will always be right here to protect my girls.

Sofia: daddy can I still sleep with you and mommy, I had a scary dream and sister's sleeping

Alright angel, you can sleep in bed with mommy and me

I took her back to our bedroom and tucked her in beside her mom who was now fully dressed. Liv was a little bothered by the interruption. It seems like between three kids and my ex wife we never get time for just us and I know she feels the same, so I'm going to fix that. I got up out of bed and looked downstairs in the kitchen for the number to our babysitter because I want to plan a date night which we haven't had in forever. Lucy is always available when needed and she agreed to babysit tomorrow night then I added a reminder in my phone to make dinner reservations for s because it was too late too it now. When I got done I joined my wife in bed and fell fast asleep. It felt good to be back home where I belong

I'm so sorry that it took me so long to update, I've been super busy and I overworked myself trying to write too many different stories at once so I've decided not to put the stress of updating everyday on myself.
