Cierra

Elliot's POV

It was eight o'clock and Kathy just arrived with our daughter for dinner. She walked inside with the little girl next to her who seemed shy. Its been a week since I told olivia about her and this is their first meeting (olivia and cierra) we all sat together at the dining room table when kathy greeted Olivia and introduced her to little Cierra Elizabeth stabler. We started eating dinner and there was an awkward silence until sofia said "mommy can I go play in my room with cierra?"

Olivia: sure sweetheart, go ahead.  Both girls left the table and went to go play. I noticed that olivia hadn't touched her food so I said "liv is everything ok with you?" She said "everything's fine ell I'm just feeling a little under the weather today"

Kathy: I can understand why this is weird for you. I know not telling elliot about cierra wasn't the right choice and now its a lot to take in

Olivia: its not that. Cierra seems like a great kid and I'm happy yo welcome her onto the family. I'm just not very hungry, I feel like I'm going to be sick.  She got up from the table and made her way to the bathroom where she started throwing up. I followed her into the bathroom holding her hair back. when she was done she rinsed her mouth with mouthwash and I took her into the living room where she laid curled up on the couch with me kneeling beside her asking what's wrong that's when she said "I'm pregnant ell" those words instantly put a smile on my face from ear to ear and I hugged her tight and said "this is incredible. You never cease to amaze me. I'm really happy Olivia, you make me so happy"

Olivia: I'm glad your happy when I'm feeling like crap, not about being pregnant I'm happy with that part. You go finish have dinner with your ex wife, I'll be fine laying here watching TV.    I gave her a Kiss then sat back at the dinner table

Kathy: is olivia going to be ok? I heard all the vomiting

She's going to be fine. She just told me we have another baby on the way so I went from having one kid to three in a matter of weeks and I think its great

Kathy: congratulations to you both. I wish you all the best and I hope she feels better soon. You should stop by the pharmacy and get her something for her nausea and vomiting before it gets worse

I will, do you mind staying with liv and the kids while I make a quick run there and back?

Kathy: no problem, you know you've never told me your daughter's name.

Her name is Sofia and once she's playing with her toys she won't be a problem. I'll be back in a few minutes

I left home and went to the pharmacy where I picked up a few things for liv and I went back home to her and she was fine. Kathy had made her some ginger tea that settled her stomach and they were sitting on the couch talking

Olivia: ell did you bring more crackers?

You only texted about a million times, yes sweetheart I brought the crackers and I'm glad to see your feeling a little better

Olivia: I am feeling better. Kathy made me some tea and now we're discussing cierra, she said cierra can spend the night here since she's having so much fun with sofia. They really are getting along so well and their both happy to be having another little brother or sister on the way. Elliot she's such a sweet little girl

I noticed. I think this is going to work out I just fine and pretty soon another kid will be running around filling our house with laughter. Liv I think we're going to be really good at this

Olivia: I think your right ell, anyway kathy has to get going and I have work in the morning so goodnight and see you in the morning

Liv went up to bed and before leaving kathy gave me a hand putting the girls to bed then she headed out. It was such a beautiful sight seeing my two daughter's snuggled up together. I'm so happy this is working out because the last thing my wife needs right now is to be stressed out

Olivia's POV

I woke up the next morning to the smell of breakfast and when I went downstairs kathy was just walking in and the girls were nseated at the table eating breakfast

Elliot: i was just about to bring you breakfast in bed. Do you want to join us or should I still bring your food up to you?

Ell I have to get dressed for work so can I take it to go? If I don't leave out in the next thirty minutes I'll be late

Elliot: its fine, I will wrap your up to go while you get dressed

I went back upstairs where I showered and got dressed for work. When I went back downstairs ell handed me my breakfast and gave me a kiss goodbye and I headed down to the precinct

Amanda: Sargent Benson do you have a minute?

Sure Rollins, follow me to my office.

I walked into my office and we both sat down then detective Rollins said "I was wondering if you had any overtime work I could do. I could use the extra money and I don't mind working late. I'm in a tough spot right now"

I don't usually get detectives willing to do overtime so that's no problem. We can arrange something starting tonight if you want to

Amanda: that would be great, thank you so much

I noticed since you got to new York you've been hanging around detective amaro a lot and I'm not one to Jude on office relationships but your in a precinct dull of detectives so I'd make it less obvious of I were you. I don't have a problem with it because you don't let it affect your work so don't start now

Amanda: your husband, detective stabler. He used to work here right?

Ell and I we're partners for twelve years. Our captain wanted to separate us at a point because we were too close. We put each other before the job and that wasn't when we were dating. He was married to his first wife back then but we joined special victims together and we were always good friends. After his divorce was final we went out for beers like we usually did and I asked him why he didn't try harder to make things work and that's when he told me how he felt. I'm not telling you to fall in love with your partner, it wasn't until elliot left svu that we started dating and if you do fall in love with him have work priorities and home priorities

Amanda: what are yours?

My daughter comes first in both because being a mom is my first priority and now that I've learned of my step daughter's existence I can't put the job before her either then comes my husband then job. family's always first in my eyes and this job will be second. My advice for you is not to loose sight of what's important to you. For me my family is my life, before I had elliot I had nobody. He was always all I had then sofia came along. I'm sitting here going on and on when we both have work to do. I'll let you get back to it while I look over these reports

Amanda: alright, thanks for everything

Detective Rollins left my office and I continued looking over case reports making sure everything was in order for ADA barba
