Olivia's POV

I'm seven months into my pregnancy and happy to say that we're expecting a little boy, I'm so excited and things couldn't get any better for us. I walked into the office carrying my bags with the biggest smile on my face as I greeted my detectives and fin came and took my bags into my office for me while I sent two patrol cops to respond to a domestic disturbance call. After a long day of work elliot came to take me home and when we got inside everyone yelled surprise. He threw me a surprise baby shower and it was perfect

Elliot: how do you like your surprise?

I love it, this is actually kind of perfect. How did you manage to put this together all by yourself?

Elliot: ii had a little help from Amanda, I needed female assistance and she happened to be available and sofia and cierra helped us decorate. I'm glad you like all of this and since we're having a little boy I went with blue and white decorations

You did a good job. I had no idea this was coming so I was really surprised. Where are the two little munchkins?

Amanda: their around here somewhere. We were playing his and seek but I guess they won since I can't find them anywhere

I heard the girls laughing then saw four little feet behind the curtain and I went over to get them

Sofia: mommy found us. Hi mommy

Hi babies, did you have a lot of fun playing today?

Sofia: yes, it was fun, we helped daddy and aunt Amanda make the pretty decorations.

Well thank you for helping, mommy loves it and since you two we're so sweet and helpful how about you let daddy give you a treat? Candy sounds good right?

Cierra: yes

Alright. The girls went to their dad for candy while I sat down enjoying my baby shower, playing games and opening gifts while talking to my detectives. It was really fun but I started feeling so much pain, I tried sitting through it but it got unbearable And I held on to my stomach

Amanda: are you feeling ok liv?

I'll be fine, its probably nothing. Elliot could you get me a glass of water

Elliot: sure and I'm going to call the doctor just to be safe. It's too early for you to be feeling so much pain

I'm fine Elliot, really

Elliot: how about you humor me? It as for my peace of mind, you always say your fine so if I hear it from a doctor I'll be less concerned

I'm going to go outside for a minute, I need some fresh air while you call the doctor that I do not need

I walked outside and sat on my porch and the pain hit me all over again. It was so bad and so sudden than I stumbled back hitting my head to the wall. Elliot came out right in time catching be before I fell

Elliot: we're going to the hospital right now, I'll have Kathy watch the girls. Liv you are not ok

Elliot's POV

After sitting liv in the back seat of my car I went back in the house with everyone and said "guys I'm going to take liv to the hospital before she passes out, Kathy do you mind staying with the girls?"

Kathy: no problem, go make sure your wife and baby are ok, I'll handle things here and I had a lot of helping hands

I left the house and took liv to the hospital where doctor's rushed to her side because she was now bleeding, I had to wait outside for a while until the doctor came to me and said "we need to do an emergency c section, your wife is being prepped for surgery, if you want to be in there your going to have to change onto some scrubs" I followed the doctor and went in with liv. The surgery didn't take too long, the screams of my baby boy filled the room as the doctors brought him over to me. Liv who decided to be awake during surgery smiled when she saw him and after a few moments her eyes closed followed by access I've beeping from the machines. The nurse took the baby and they pushed me out of the room against my will

I waited for hours in the waiting room along side Liv's detectives and my ex wife and daughter's who decided to join me a couple of hours ago. I was so worried that I paced up and down waiting for the doctor to come out and tell me what's going on with my wife and baby

Sofia: daddy where's my mommy, I want mommy

I knows you do princess, we're both going to have to wait

Just then the doctor walked over with my baby boy wrapped up in his arms, he handed me the baby and said "he's had some breathing difficulties but this is a tough little man you have here" I took my son and said "thank you, is my wife alright? Something went wrong in there and I need to know of she's ok"

Doctor Rivers: your wife did have a few complications, there was some bleeding that we needed to stop and we did. She's now resting, she won't be up for a couple of hours but. I'll allow you in to see her but only you

Sofia: Mama no come for me daddy?

Princess mama's sick and she's asleep right now but do you and cierra want to meet your little brother?

Cierra: ok daddy

I sat down with my son in my arms while my girls played with him

Amanda: he's so precious

Cierra: daddy what do we call the baby?

I'm not sure yet sweetheart, liv and I were still debating names until Olivia wakes up we'll call him whatever you like

Cierra: daddy his mommy will give him a name. My mommy gave me my name and I like it

I like it too, liv let me name our first one so I'll let her have this one and she'd probably get upset if I pick a name she doesn't like

After waiting with Olivia for a couple more hours she finally woke up and held our son then she said "honey I think we should call him Noah, do you like it Ell?"

No, liv I love it. Noah is our perfect little man aren't you buddy? Guess what little man? Your mommy is the most amazing woman you'll ever meet. Your a lucky little guy so we have that in common along with being loved by your mom and little sisters

Olivia: your being so sweet I think I'm tearing up a bit

I'm being honest. I love you and I'm going to take care of you and our kids because if it were me who needed it you'd be right by my side. If I could trade places I'd do it in a heartbeat because I'd rather it be me in pain than you any day. I love you and I hate seeing you in pain

Olivia: I can handle a little pain if it means I get my little guy right here. You always say how lucky you are to have me but I'm the lucky one because I get you

I guess we're both pretty lucky aren't we?

I kissed my wife and we were soon joined by my daughters who enjoyed meeting their little brother
