"So, you're James." My dad said as he shook James hand and sat down on the couch. "Well, it's nice to meet you. How come you decided to date ny daughter."

James giggled, "Well, she paid me three hundred dollars."
My heart stopped, what did he just do. I looked over at my dad, he looked at both of us, then laughed really hard. We joined in on the laughter, but I was still scared. "No, I'm just kidding. The real reason I decide to date your daughter is because she's just amazing. She takes my breath away every time I look at her, her laugh makes me the happiest I've ever been, and every time I look at her I feel like the luckiest man alive."

I looked over at my dad to see him smiling, "I'm just glad someone else can see how special she is. I think she was staring to grow annoyed from me telling her all the time. Well, I'm happy for you two."

"Thank you." James and I said simultaneously and grinned at each other.

The things he said about me made my heart swell with joy, I knew that we were only friends, and that I was just his client, but I couldn't help it. He knew how to win a girls heart just by words.

My dad asked him a few more personal questions, and then my dad had to go to work. James and I went upstairs to my room, my dad said that we could be up there but we had to leave the door open.

"So what was the worst client you've ever had?" I asked as I spun around in my desk chair.

James sat down on the bean bag, and laughed, "Um, okay... there was a gay guy,"

"Oh no." I said.

James laughed, "Yeah. So, um... He was wanting to come out of the closet to his family, and I had to be there. Yeaaaahh, let's just say there was a lot of hand holding, and kissing." He shivered in disgust, "So yeah, I really don't like doing those, but I feel better for them after its all done."

"Well at least you were brave enough to do that for someone. Have you ever slept with any of them?" I asked praying that he said no.

He giggled, "Oh, we're getting personal here. Just kidding, um no. I'm still a virgin."

Relief filled my body. Thank the gods. "Well, that's good."

"What about you Miss. Strong?"

"Yup, still a virgin. And strong." I giggled.

He smiled, "Well, that is your last name."

I just smiled at him. I was surprised that he was still a virgin, being That handsome, and being as sweet as he is, I would've expected that to be gone; but I was thankful he still had it. "That's good." I blushed.

"Why do you wanna know?" He smirked.

My cheeks started to heat insanely fast, "No reason." I said way too fast that it was obviously a lie. Of course there was a reason, but I wasn't about to just come out and say it.

"What are you hiding Kayla?" He said as he walked over to mg chair, and spun me around.

I just giggled and rolled my eyes, refusing to answer any questions. He kept spinning me and spinning me, making my brain start to pound and get dizzy, "Okay, James. You gotta stop spinning me. I get sick too quickly if I get spun around foo much."

"Sorry." He said as he held his hands in the air and plopped down on my bed.

We discussed some ideas for the dance; like what colors we were going to wear, what would we bring to eat. All of that fun stuff.

James and I, searched online for cute Valentine Dances outfits. Lots were pink, red, and white. None of them would be flattering for me. So I clicked off my phone and asked if James wanted anything to eat.

He simply replied yes, and that he was coming with me. We walked downstairs into the kitchen, I was thinking of something to make him. I gasped in excitement.

"What?" James asked scared. "You didn't see a rat, did you?" He stood on the chair in fear.

I laughed, "No silly. I decided I'm gonna make pancakes. They're my mom's recipe."

He smiled ear to ear, "I love pancakes! I bet they're delicious."

I flipped my hair, "Oh yes, they are. Would you like to help me make them?" He nodded in agreement, and we washed our hands getting ready to make some delicious pancakes. I quickly put my hair in a ponytail, and grabbed all of the ingredients.

He grabbed the measuring spoon and measured some flour, but he decided to throw the whole thing in my face. "OH MY GOD!" I squealed in disgust, and shook off as much flour as I could. "What the hell James?"

He laughed so hard he didn't even make a noise. I laughed at his cuteness, "Kayla!" He kept laughing, "You look ridiculous."

My eyes rolled my eyes to the back of my head, and fake laughed, "Very funny."

He smiled and looked everywhere, "Wow, you made a mess."

I playfully punched him in the arm and said, "You're gonna clean this up." He just giggled and blew the rest of the flour out of my face. We poured the rest of the ingredients in, and heated the skillet so we could cook them.

The pancakes turned out great; we made at least twenty. I called my brothers downstairs so we could eat, and I put the rest in a Tupperware container for my dad when he got home.

I didn't want to stay home and watch the boys with my time with James, so I called for a babysitter. I knew I could always count on Brianna.
After I thanked her a million times, James and I left to go find something to do.
