I woke up and did my morning routine. Get a shower, cook breakfast, start laundry, and then write. It was Saturday so I didn't have much to do. I looked over and saw my phone, I decided to check it since I haven't checked it all morning. Missed Call. Crap! I sat up from my bed and called him back. Please pick up.

"This is James, can I help you?"

I smiled at his voice, "Hi, my name is Kayla Strong. I called yesterday, but you didn't pick up."

He laughed, (he sounded really attractive, like way too attractive.) "Yes I remember, you have the cute voice."

I could feel my cheeks heating. "Thank you. Well, I was wondering if we could meet? That way I know I'm investing my money well."

"I promise you are." He laughed, "But I would be glad to meet you."

"Okay, awesome. How about at the park?"

I could tell that he smiled, his voice became really happy, "We're in San Antonio Texas, you're gonna have to be more descriptive."

"Ok, never mind... let's just meet at the mall." I rolled my eyes and laughed at myself.

"I'll see you then. Today right? Around threeish?"

I nodded, "Yes sir. Ok thank you, bye." I hung up and giggled with joy. Gotta get dressed. My closet wasn't filled with sluty clothes, I enjoyed dressing modesty with a slight edge. But today was slightly chilly so I slid on my denim skinny jeans, maroon tank, and black sweater to cover up. Shoes? Maroon converse. Now for my hair, I think fishtail braid.

The Time went by so slow when I wanted something to get here, any other time it went by faster than a rabbit. I wanted to pass time so I wrote for a good hour, and then it was time. Since my dad didn't want to go anywhere I had to run to the mall. (I had my license, I just couldn't drive anywhere without my dad, but I could ride with my friends.)

The mall was a good twenty minute run. I did exactly what Bri said to do. Run. I hated it. This is why I don't run, can't breathe, legs tremble, sweat, and soon start to stink. Nothing good came from trying to be healthy.

I went back to where his booth was but he wasn't there. Nothing was there. No business cards, hearts, booth, no sign. Nothing. I pulled out my phone and called him.

"This is Kayla right?" I heard his charming voice.

I smiled but then remembered why I called him, "Yes, where are you?"

"I'm in the food court. Where are you?"

I giggled, "Hungry I see. And I'm where your booth was. Why don't you have anything set up?" I asked confused.

He sighed, "Well, I was supposed to have sold a certain amount by today, but no one called, except you, and some other girl."

"Oh, ok." It made sense. "I'm on my way." I smiled and hung up. The food court wasn't far from where he was set up. It was down the escalator.

As I searched the food court it hit me, I have no idea who he was, what he looked like. Should I call him back? Nah, he'll think I'm crazy. I decided to just ask people if they were James. They all tried to get away from me. I watched as another guy kept asking people stuff, but there was a kid next to him. I plopped down in a chair feeling defeated. I was officially going to be a looser. Highschool would suck for eternity.

And just when everything felt like crap, someone bumped into my shoulder. "I'm sorry."

"Its okay." I said as I smiled and gave him a quick glance. That voice. He turned to face me, "Kayla?"

"James?" I quickly stood up and smiled. He's gorgeous. I thought that over and over again. We both couldn't stop smiling at each other. "Would you like to sit?" I asked.

"Of course. That's why I'm here." He giggled. He sat down in the chair in front of mine. I couldn't get over the fact of how breath taking he was. "So, have you chosen a package?"

"What? Oh yeah. I think I wanna take the oh my God they're Dating package." I smiled.

"Ok, that will be Three hundred dollars. You don't have to pay it right now, but the sooner you pay it, the sooner we'll be dating. Um, we can have a whole album on Facebook, we can kiss in front of your friends and family. We'll both have our Facebook status to Dating. And if you want we can date two weeks after Valentine's Day. Sound good?"

"Sounds good." I smiled and shook his hand. "Can I give you a hug? I kind of feel like we should hug."

"Not till you pay. I'm sorry."

Oh yeah, he's not real. "Oh, it's ok. I understand." Well, since I knew what I was investing into he would get his money soon.

"Kayla?" He said just as I was about to walk off. "Yes?"
"No refunds either."

"Okay." I fakely grinned, and walked back home. He seems like a dick. Yeah he may be charming, have a smooth voice, blue eyes, and perfect dirty blonde hair; that still didn't change the fact that he acted like a complete jerk.

What if he treated me like this while we were pretending to be a couple. Was I investing three hundred dollars wisely? What if someboey caught on? This was bound to be a mistake. But hey, you live and you learn.
