"So Mr. James, where are we gonna go?" I smiled as he reversed out of my driveway.
He looked at me and smirked, "Well Miss. Kayla, we are two young, charming, bold, fun, hilarious, and daring teenagers I might add with the world at our finger tips... I think we will do whatever comes up at that specific moment."
I just giggled at him, and thought of all the places we could go, or what we would do even. James wasn't like most guys, he was different in a way; I couldn't help but blush at him all the time.
After driving around for what felt like hours was only twenty minutes, James pulled over and turned off the car; he looked at his phone and then he looked at me, "Kayla, how would you feel about crashing a wedding?"
"What?" I laughed, "Are you serious?"
He shook his head, "I'm dead serious." A smirk soon followed his response.
I giggled, "James, we can't crash a wedding."
He started the car and pulled off, "Sure we can. We just walk inside and act like we're apart of it. Don't worry, I'll show you how it's done when we get there." I guess he was trying to reassure me.
We pulled up to this church, loads of cars were parked outside. It was okay to be nervous. James held my hand as we walked inside.
"I feel under dressed." I whisper in his ear as we entered the front doors. All of the women and men were in dresses and suits.
James smiled, "I've got an idea." He started to lead me down the halls.
"Don't tell me that you're gonna knock a guy and woman unconscious and steal their clothes." I said as I pulled him back to stop him.
He just laughed, "Kayla, you watch too many movies; and by the way, they wouldn't even stay unconscious long enough... So we're sticking to my idea." He continued to walk with me down the hall.
There was a man and a woman, maybe they were husband and wife, but they were standing there talking about something, but James decided to interrupt, "Excuse me, Hi. I'm James and this is my girlfriend Kayla, we were called up last minute and didn't have time to get our clothing for this wedding, we were wondering if you have any left over dresses or suits?"
The lady smiled, "Yes, just follow me." Her and the man led us to this closet, "There are some extra suits, ties, and dresses in there."
"Thank you." James and I thanked them as we watched them walk away.
James and I entered the closet. It was filled with tons of dresses, suits and ties. He just grabbed a suit jacket and slid it over his shirt, he decided to stay in his jeans. The decision to find a dress was very hard. "Which one do you think?" I asked as I slid my hands across the dresses.
He smiled, "I think this one." He lifted a beautiful light pink sweet heart high low dress off the rack. It had this soft pink sheer layer over the dress, making it flow when it moved.
I gasped in awe, "Oh my. This is beautiful." I gently took it upon my hands and just admired it. I'm gonna save this for the Valentine's dance. "But I think I should wear another one." I said as I looked over at a royal blue silk gown. "How about this?"
"Nah." He said as he disagreed in disgust. "This one." H pointed to an sweetheart dark purple gown. This one was just as gorgeous.
I accepted it into my hands. It was soft and smooth. There was no where else to change but in here. "You need to turn around." I said as I motioned to my dress. He did exactly as I asked.
First I took off my shirt, and then soon my blue jeans. I was left in my bra and panties, I glanced over ny shoulder to see James peeking out of the corner of his eye; but he quickly looked away when he saw that I caught him. A smiled just spread across my face, as I slid the dress on. As the I pulled the dress all the way up, I unlatched my bra, and pulled the dress up the rest of the way.
The dress still needed to be zipped up, "Um, James?" I asked as I walked over to him, "Little help?"
He zipped it up all the way. Perfect fit. "You look awesome! Let's do this." He held my hand as we walked into the chapel. We watched as these two got married. She was beautiful, in her long white dress, and that smile that was spread across her face. This must've been the best day of her life.
Soon the party was moved into the gym, where there were decorations, and tables, food, and music. Breath taking. While the bride and groom took pictures, the dj played lots of fast songs. James and I killed the dance floor with our awesome skills.
After they finished with every thing, cutting the cake, slide show, and where their friends would say about how happy they were for them, they finally played some slow songs.
"Would you like to dance?" James asked as he stood up and held out his hand.
I smiled, "Yes, of course." I accepted his hand and we walked out onto the dance floor. I put my hand on his shoulder and held his hand, while he put his hand on ny waist and held my hand.
We just swayed back and forth talking about nonsense. He brought up Marco several times, and I reassured him that he was a douche. Then we got onto the conversation about chips, I have no idea how it came up from Marco, to chips. I guess it was because he had a Mexican name, and James was curious about tortilla chips.
The Wedding was over, and nobody asked who we were. Not even the bride or the groom. The last thing on the list was for them to run outside and get in the car for their honeymoon. As the bride ran down the stairs while all of us had sparklers, she smiled and said "I almost forgot!" She still had the bouquet of flowers in her hands, all of the woman stood behind her as she tossed it behind her head.
I watched as it floated in the air, I knew it most likely would fly to me so I didn't really try. But it landed right in my hands. I looked up and all of the girls snickered and walked away. My smile was uncontrollable, I've never been able to catch the bouquet. The bride gave me a hug ad smiled, "Congrats. I'll try to attend your wedding." She looked at me and grinned and then ran back to her car.
Confusion was filling my mind. Did she know that I wasn't apart of this? Or did she actually think I was family or a friend? Whatever I caught it!
James smiled as he put his arm around my shoulder and We walked to the car. I hid the pink dress under the seat, so I could have it for the dance.
He drove me home. It was so late, but I really didn't want the night to end. But I thanked him for the amazing time that he spent with me, and he promised to see me tomorrow after school. I knew it was the other girl who was in need of him, so I just accepted it and went inside. I got ready for bed, and texted Brianna that I loved her for babysitting, and that I would pay her soon; then it was time for bed. Tomorrow was the big day... The Valentine's Dance.
