Today was visitation day at the prison and I wasn't expecting anyone because I told everyone I cared for, not to make the effort to visit me. I didn't want them to see me shackled up like some animal. I have my own ways of seeing and talking to them.
Unlike many of the people who spend decades in institutions like these, I'm a boss ass nigga, I have connections with the outside world. I have a chance to get my hands on just about every piece of new technology that comes out. Hell I just might get the shit before yall do! Aha!
My nigga Ace walked back into the cell from the showers lookin mad disgusted. You know I had to check on my mans.
"What's poppin blood? You look like you saw the ugliest pussy in the world son" I laughed while sitting up in the bunk.
"man.... I wish I had compared to what the fuck I just saw in the showers" he said lowly.
Awww hell. What the hell done happened now?
"What happened bruh?"
"You know that buff body builder guard Mendez ?"
I searched thru my brain to remember seeing the guard he was talkin about, then I quickly remembered because he was the nigga who first greeted me when I came to this muthafucka. I might add that he was kinda staring at a nigga kinda hard. I wasn't down with that shit from the jump, that's why I always kept my distance.
"Yeah I remember dude. Why what happened?"
"Well, I walk in that bitch, thinking since everybody else on the yard, wasn't nobody gonna be in there so I wanted to get smellin right before them other niggas come up in there. You know I don't like people staring at my ass man." he said and I laughing while shaking my head waiting for him to continue.
"So I get to strippin down and I hear shit slappin together. I thought it was a bitch makin ha ass clap or sumn so I started trying to look for where the noise was coming from. I get into the showers to see that the water was running and there was a lot of steam coming from the back. Man... something told me that there wasn't a fine ass bitch back there but curiosity got the best of ya boy man... tell me why I walk up on Mendez and one of ole dude from the Latino crew gettin it in! Like Mendez was tearin dude up bruh! They stopped and looked at me and smiled and I ran my ass clean outta that bitch! That was the worst shit I've ever seen in my life man! And I've done seen some bad shit Sean!" he said with pure agony dripping from his voice.
I sat there dying laughing. I really thought that I was about to die from the lack of oxygen that my lungs wasn't getting.
"You...thought ... a ... bitch. .... was....in... here?!!" I said between laughs.
He shot me a evil look, "Man that shit ain't funny! Somebody could've snuck a bitch in here. I was just tryna see some ass"
"Oh you saw some ass alright!" I screamed laughing.
"Yeah iight, keep laughin, imma tell Mendez that ya birthday coming up and ya wanna try sumn new"
I instantly stopped laughing, "and that'll be the day that you die my dude. Imma have ya ass hanging from this bunk, keep playin Ace"
We stared each other down before bursting out into laughter. We too much alike bruh, shit is dangerous.
Its now or never...
"You said you was gone always keep it 1 hunnid wit me right Ace?"
He stopped laughing and answered, "that's all I know how to do Sean"
"You sure about that bro?"
"When did you figure it out?"
"the moment you opened up that crazy ass mouth of yours" I said making him laugh.
He leaned back against the wall and folded his arms, "I wanted to let you figure it out. wanted to see how long it was goin to take, cause you was always the slow one outta the bunch"
We both laughed until I noticed what he said.
The bunch?
"Wait.. do we-"
"WILKINSON YOU HAVE A VISITOR IN THE VISITATION AREA" Mendez shouted standing in front of our opening cell door.
I just laid back down cause I knew he wasn't talkin to me.
"I'm talkin to the both of you" he said with a lower tone.
I sat up and scrunched my eyebrows together.
Who's ass do I have to beat for not following orders?
I sighed and got off of the bed following Ace out of the cell.
Ace looked at Mendez with disgust written all over his face.
"Ass too big to be fuckin other niggas" he said shaking his head.
"You can join sometime Mr. Mello
Yellow" Mendez said then winked.
"NIGGA I AIN'T WITH THAT FUFUU SHIT! I'LL BEAT YO BIG GORILLA LOOKING ASS AND CATCH ANOTHER CHARGE! FUCK WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO!" Ace shouted at an unfazed Mendez.
I was crying laughing while dragging Ace's stupid ass to the visitation area.
"C'mon big bruh I can't have you stayin in this bitch longer than you already are"
"These punk ass niggas be testing me bruh"
I just shook my head as we made to the area.
We had a private room separate from the other inmates.
Damn, who in here got thar kinda pull?
We walked straight in, no cuffs, no restrictions.
He went one direction and I went another.
I paused when I saw my visitor. Damn... it's been a long ass time since she's been in my presence.
She stood to her feet and ran over to me and we pulled each other into a tight warm hug.
"Shayna."
"Desean." she said with tears in her eyes.
"Don't cry mama, what I told you bout that shit? and what the hell I told you about coming here?" I said with more authority.
"I know. I know but I had to come here and tell you about what's going on, I feel like I'm losing my mind Sean. For the first time since you've been gone, I'm deeply afraid"
This took me back. Why was she afraid?
"let's sit and talk about this...."
So we sat and discussed what was going on.

After she told me about what's been goin on, I asked was there anything else, she seemed hesitant.. something that I haven't seen from the new Shayna. It almost feels as if she's hiding something.
"Shayna you bet not-" just as I was about to check Shayna, the last person that I needed to be around walked into the room... the Warden.
Shit...
