Josh shot up and was relieved to see the sun peeking through the windows. Daylight! That meant no creepy nurse. "Well look who's finally up?" Smiled a young brunette nurse. "My name is-" she was cuz of by a little boy.

"Look mommy I follow you like soldier" a three year old boy with light blonde hair and bright blue eyes.

"Like a toy soldier" Emily smiled and picked up her son. "I'm Emily and this is Ryan."

"Hi Ryan" josh smiled and shook the young boys hand.

"This may be a bad time mr Ramsay but your friend, she gestured to the girl. "Is officially in a coma."

"I figured" josh sighed. "Do you have a mirror?"

"Of course, Ryan go grab the mirror over by the tv for mommy?" The little boy stumbled of as she swapped the IVs on both josh and Eleanor.

Ryan brought back a pink hand held mirror and handed it to josh. His face fell as he looked in it.

Two missing teeth, dry and crusted blood under his nose, scabs scattered throughout his face, his hair matted to the side. "Mind if I shower?" He asked.

Emily led him to the bathroom inside the room.

"Mind helping? Sorry it's awkward."

"Oh don't worry hun I'm a professional." She helped him get his robe off over his IV.

"Can we talk?"

"While you shower?"

"Please."

"Sure. You finish getting undressed and ill go make sure Ryan is occupied" she walked out and made sure Ryan was quiet and staying stationary.

Once the water was running she walked back in. "Back josh."

"What's up with the night nurse?" He asked.

"Carolina?"

"Ya that one."

"Well, honestly nobody knows much about her, she showed up one day asking for a job. She had all the right information, she said she needed a job to support herself after her husbands death, but she didn't want to work during the day. So they gave her the night shift. She never talks to anybody."

"She talks to me." Josh sighed

"Your kidding?" Emily was surprised

"She doesn't seem all there."

"There are rumors she killed her husband. But record shows otherwise."

"Can you help?" Josh poked his head out from behind the curtain. "With my back?"

"Sure." Emily opened the curtain as he handed her the luffa full of body wash.

"This would be weird if it was the other nurse. I'm beginning to think she likes me."

"Wouldn't put it past her." Emily laughed.

"She stole Eleanor's engagement ring."

"You're kidding?"

"No I saw her wearing it and things got really awkward."

"Mommy!"

Emily quickly shut the curtain. "You Ryan?"

"Ana's hench is here."

"What?"

"Shit!" Josh shouted and shut off the water. "That's my band."

Quickly he wrapped a towel around his waist and walked into the room.

Mike was sitting on Josh's bed, Matt stood eating a sandwich, and Ian sat beside Eleanor.

"Uh josh." Matt laughed looking at his lead singer near naked.

"You said you wouldn't be here until night to distract me from that creepy nurse."

"It is night." Mike pointed to the blackened window.

"Creepy?" Carolina stood in the doorway. Her face for once covered in dark makeup.

"Not you. The one across the hall."

"Yes Paul is creepy." Carolina walked in with her head held up. Just noticed that she was taller tonight. In fact Carolina had a plan, a plan she thought for sure would make josh love her.
