Part 8

Carolina raced back upstairs, throwing her blonde wig in a random room. Josh was now hers, there was no protection for him.

As she entered the room she heard him talking to Eleanor. "But the evil queen Carolina refused to give up the princess as she tried to rule the kingdom of Toyland." Carolina noticed that josh wrote on a notepad as he spoke.

"Evil queen Carolina?" She laughed.

"Oh didn't you you. Or uh see you." Josh stuttered as he closed the notepad.

"Joshua," Carolina smiled. "I'm you're biggest fan." She walked closer to him. "And I love you."

"Uh. This this isn't just not r-r-right." Josh stuttered again.

"Go lay down josh." She led him to the bed.

"Uh." Josh pulled himself up onto the bed.

Carolina slowly grabbed a syringe of a smaller dose of her drug.

"Do you mind letting me sleep on my own?" Josh asked his body slowly beginning to shake.

"Not yet." She stuck the needle in his upper arm.

"What is that?" He asked

"Sleeping aid." She smiled and pushed it in.

Josh's vision blurred as his body went limp. A smile flew across his face as he was filled with a euphoric sensation.

Carolina kissed him as he reached for her.

He opened his mouth but Carolina stopped him. "Don't talk, just sleep." Slowly she kissed him again and this time he kissed back.

Josh slid in and out of consciousness that night, unaware of his surroundings.
