Chandler's POV!

I woke up and looked over. My cuddle buddy was gone. I got up and walked into my closet and changed. When I walked out my dad was sitting on my couch.

"Can I help you?" I asked him.

"Your mother has an idea that we should be bonding more. I am so happy you are dressed, now get your shoes on and we can go."

"I have plans."

"Yeah and you are grounded to so."

"I seriously do have plans for after school."

"Well good. It is seven and so we have nine hours or so until school lets out. It wasn't my idea and I didn't call myself out of work. Now let's make your mother happy and get through the day with out killing each other."

"Why does she want us to bond?"

"I have no idea, but I did make a commitment that I would accept you as my own son."

"You have three other kids. Can't you like go bond with them."

"My ex-wife doesn't want me to be apart of them, but your mother wants me to be apart of your life so lets go."

"Dad if you don't want to hang out with me it's fine. I understand. I am not your actual born kid and to be honest I don't know if I am comfortable hanging out with you. You are  really good dad, coach, and friend, but to me can you just be the guy I gave my mom to and not out of choice."

"I guess. You know you can take my last name if you want to."

"I think I like to leave my name the way it is. Now I have to plan a perfect hang out date thing so you can like leave if you want. I think it would be best for us if you just like left me alone. Please."

He nodded and walked out. Why does he want to be apart of my life?

Steven's POV!

I got in my car and left to go town. I was thinking so hard. What happened to us. he would always sit with me and watch football and we would hang out all the time.

I pulled into Lindsey's work. I walked into her office and sat down.

"Hey what are you doing here?"

"Nothing. I am bored out of my mind."

"What happened to you hanging out with Chandler? That was the whole point of you being off today."

"He doesn't want to hang out with me. He actually want's me to leave him alone. He thinks that it is best if I don't talk to him and he brought up how he gave you to me, but not by choice."

"Awe that isn't true. Maybe I should call him."

"Don't it isn't going to make a difference Lindsey. Can't you see that he should know who his dad is. he is eighteen years old and he should be able to know the whole story. Maybe if he found out he wouldn't hate me as much as he does."

"Steven he doesn't hate you. Did he give you a reason of why he didn't want to hang out."

"He said something about planning a hang out date for after school."
