Rhapsody

//07: the intermission.

oh, is it halfway through already?
that was fast.
i didn't even realize.
did you like it?
i did; it was wonderful, don't you think?
i felt like it wasn't nearly half a hundred people
playing the music,
it felt like the music was just...
there.
and the orchestra was simply
pulling it out of the air,
pointing it out for us to see;
and did you notice
when that cellist's music dropped?
my heart stopped for her,
i swear it did,
it was right during where she had a
beautiful beautiful harmony
to support.
but then the nice violist in the seat over
picked it up for her and they smiled at each other;
it was so sweet.
i thought it seemed a bit secretive -
i wonder if they're closer than just friends offstage?
that'd make such a good story,
don't you think?

he smiles at her
her eyes are sparkling -
if he said that she'd say it's just
reflections of the
concert hall lights
but he knows better.
