Dear Aurora,

First, let me say how sorry I am to hear that you lost your mother. I can not imagine that being easy for anyone to go through no matter your age or the consequences surrounding it.

My name is Ryan Tenzin and I'm a private here on the front lines. We have been informed not to talk or write about what we do here, or give details that could be leaked to the enemy.

Sounds like a movie right? LOL.

I'm tall too, although you'd be short compared to me. I'm 6'4", pretty tan since it's always sunny here and I also have brown hair and blue eyes!( Maybe that's why they matched us?).

I'm not much of a " picket fence " writer either since I grew up in foster care mostly and joined the Army as soon as I was legal age.(That was almost 9 years ago now.)
I'm 28 now.

I guess we have a lot in common in one way.

So tell me some more about yourself. Where do you live, what do you do for work, what do you do for fun, what's your favorite color, anything! Days here can be pretty routine. I think I mostly signed up for this letter program just to have something to think about other than what happens every day.

Right to me soon and don't worry about how you were and what you say I can take it. LOL
