Dear Aurora,

I'm ok.There was something happen near here but I wasn't part of it.It did make me think though, and I've given your address to a couple of the squad guys and my captain just in case.I'm probably overstepping but should something happen I don't want you to not know and worry about me.

I got your pictures.What a great place to live! I see solar panels.You must have power of some kind huh?

We set up solar panels all the time.Its a great way to use the sun for free and easy to get power.(Which sometimes can be hard to get from local cities/towns).

I'm glad to hear you have a dog.I was worried about you when you said you lived alone.Rocky huh? I live those movies! Is that where you got his name from?

Daniel? I'd like to hear more about him.He brings you supplies?Does he do that often? How'd you meet him?

Ha..ha..I sound paranoid..I feel..protective of you.Does that make sense? I know it's dumb when we are a world apart and it's probably someone you've know for years but I can't stop it.He'd better treat you right!

Ryan..Ryan..Ryan..there I go being bossy..Don't get mad! I'm taking your word that I can write anything! Lol..maybe that's not what you meant though...

Back to your pictures.Jake stole my letter when I was reading it and all the guys want you to send them a picture too.They say your hot! I'd have to agree.Your very pretty Aurora, and so happy and smiling.You look pleased with your life.Rocky is huge too! Are you sure he's only Shepard? Lol.

Oh, also Jake read about you saying I was good looking so now I have a new nickname."Pretty Boy". Guys are such dicks sometimes..lol..but I've also got several who wanna know when you want a mail order husband.They wanna know if you can wait a few years! Lol.

I hope you don't mind them.They're harmless, I promise!It's just fun to distract us from what's going on here lately.(Although if you're interested I'll let them know).

Seriously though, I'm glad you feel comfortable hanging out/my picture up with you.I keep my letters in my locker, but I keep your picture in my pocket or under my pillow.I like keep it close.(Plus then Jake can't steal it! Lol).

Sometimes when I lay in my bunk at night I think about you and what you are doing.I'd love to hear about your day.What kinds of stuff fill your time?

Days here kinda blend together.We get up by 5, dress, shower and prep for room inspection.Then it's breakfast at the mess hall and duty for the day.A lot of peacekeeping lately.Which I really like.The kids are here are so curious! The others are sometimes friendly and sometimes not.We try to be careful either way.Its too bad people can't just get along, but then I guess I'd be out of a job! Lol

We usually finish up about 6-7 and then it's supper and free time.Although free time also is for gun cleaning, letter writing , ironing/laundry and sometimes we have movie or nights out.
Then it's another shower and bed.Unless there's something going on its usually lights out by 9.Early for some but I like my sleep and with the noise at night sometimes it can be hard to sleep.
Right now we are stationed near a small city.The guys wanna go out this Friday but we're waiting to see before we decide for sure.Even fun trips out can be dangerous in certain areas.

Lol, it's hard to write and leave things out..but captain said no details so I'm trying.

I better go.I wanna drop this to mail company before I hit the showers.Let me know what to tell the guys about mail ordering one of them and keep safe "Pretty Girl"..
