Ryan,

I'm still laughing and smiling.I guess a mail order guy would be easy huh? Who would you suggest? They're outta luck on the pictures though.Im not sure they'd keep it clean and I don't wanna think about what they'd use my picture for! Lol

Yes, I do have solar panels.A big generator and a bunch of batteries I store power in.I stick to off grid  living for most things but I do have running water(thank god when I got that hooked up!)..and I use the power to do laundry.I refuse to wash it by hand anymore! I've got a dryer too but use an outside line mostly to dry it.The line actually runs between the house and barn.

Yeah, Rocky's name does come for the movies.Or so I was told when I adopted him.He's a rescue dog.His old owner had him about 2 years and trained him as a guard dog.Then the owner died and no one could control him. I heard about him in town and when to see him at the kennel.They were gonna put him down but he responded to me.We had to pass a few tests before they let him come home with me, but he's fine now.No, it wasn't dangerous! He just was sad and lonely I think and acting out.He's very protective of me.I don't know if he's anything else but even Daniel says he must be something more since Shepard's usually are smaller then him.

Ah, Daniel..It's almost funny you asked about him.I think he's lonely.Hes 80, and his wife passed away last year.Look in your pictures, he's the older gentleman in the dark blue coat.Him and Shirley were a big help to me when I first moved out here.Shirley helped me learn how to cook on a wood stove and Daniel showed me how to fix almost anything.He comes out every couple of months and still checks up on me.

So, yeah, no worries Mr.Jealous! Lol, I think Daniel's the one to wonder about you not the other way around..lol.Careful, hermits like us are crazy!

Hey, I'm just kidding too.I like that you feel that way Ryan.Its nice that someone else cares about me(someone who isn't 80!) lol.

Jake huh? Sounds like a friend.They sound like a big group of brothers.I can definitely imagine you being picked on Pretty Boy..lol, I like that.ha ha!

I hope you guys are safe all the time! Oh! A night out huh? Well, by the time this arrives you will have already went I guess.I hope it was fun...I'm not sure how I feel about it.Guess jealousy goes both ways huh? Even though I have no tie on you.

Ignore me! I hope you had fun..I said that already I know but I do.You deserve some fun when you work so hard for our country.Just be careful, and yes I mean in that way!lol..

I understand how you need to leave things out.I don't mind.

Let's see..my day...I start later then you, but still about sunrise.I get up and dress and if I need to check or start the fire.Its summer now so I do some cooking outside.So today I started the cook fire(outdoors) then went to get breakfast and milk the goat.She's a good girl and I get half a bucket or so a day.Good for milk, butter and cheese(if I want, I don't usually bother).
Then I grab the eggs from the chickens and feed them all.Oh, and clean away any manure and let Sally out in the pasture.(Sally is the goat).

Then I re-check and stock the cook fire then set the milk in a special rack and leave it on the fire.(You have to heat milk to kill the germs).I go in and wash the eggs and shower too.
Then I cook up breakfast, usually eggs and coffee with toast or bread, plus strain and store the milk.Oh, I have a fridge that uses power too.It's dishes, housework and the like for most of my days but sometimes I'll do a town trip or go hunting during this time.

By 5, I start supper and milk Sally again.Feed and put the animals to bed for the night.9? That's about when I go to bed too.Its usually heading towards dark by then and I don't waste power just to sit up at nights.

I often lay in bed wondering about you and how your days went so, it's great to know now.It's funny, we both are laying in bed thinking about each other even when we are so far apart.

Hey, just to give you and the guys ideas..guess what I wear to bed! Lol

Ha ha..I'm bad! I'm guess you all bunk in the same room so I'll be thinking about you guys too..wink, wink..(I hope that gets them for reading your letters!) lol
