Jasmine POV
I was just walking around the neighborhood trying to cool off. Truth is I'm not really mad at my dad, I just got issues. Long story short, I really really hate my aunt. I was just walking and I felt someone grab my shoulder. As an instinct I slapped the person with my left hand, but I instantly regretted it because I realized that it was just David.
Jasmine: oh my gosh I am so sorry.
David: wow you slap hard.
Jasmine: sorry. But you're not supposed to grab someone by the shoulder like that.
David: I didn't think I grabbed it that hard.
Jasmine: are you okay?
David: I will be.
Jasmine: I think you're gonna need some ice on that.
David: no it's fine. But um...how you been?
Jasmine: good. You?...before I smacked you.
David: great.
Jasmine: oh and guess what?
David: what?
Jasmine: I finally graduated.
David: oh really when?
Jasmine: a couple days ago. I just got back today.
David: just got back?
Jasmine: I went to college in Boston.
David: what Harvard?
Jasmine: no. You'd have to be extremely smart to get into that.
David: then what college?
Jasmine: Boston university.
David: obviously. But I graduated too.
Jasmine: that was like five years ago.
David: it still counts.
I just playfully rolled my eyes.
David: anyways what are you doing out here?
Jasmine: going for a walk.
David: you okay?
Jasmine: yeah why?
David: you seem a bit gloom.
Jasmine: gloom? Where did you get the word gloom from?
David: my niece she always uses the word gloom. I hang with her too much.
Jasmine: and how old is your niece?
David: five. Anyways stop avoiding my question, what's going on with you?
Jasmine: nothing. I'm just me.
David: no you look very sad.
Jasmine: and how would you know?
David: let's see, the first time we actually hung out was at your sister's 17th birthday party and we hung out for like a good three or four hours. Then after that we went on one date to some random fair and we hung out again. You were cheerful but now you're...not.
Jasmine: well I kinda got into a fight with my dad.
David: oh. Was it bad?
Jasmine:I practically told him that I wished that he wasn't my father, or at least know he was.
David: then I guess it was bad.
