Amber POV
Got about a week now, I have been hanging out with Dylan and Harmony. I mainly hung out with Dylan cause Harmony sometimes left Dylan and I alone together. Tomorrow I am going to visit my uncle. But today I am going with Harmony so I could dye my tips a different color. I had my hair ombré for about two to three years now and I feel like I need to change it. I don't know what color exactly but I'm gonna figure it out when I get there. Harmony might also dye her hair or just style it, she's clueless also.
Right now we're on our way to the salon so we could do all of that. We're going to the Spanish salon near 125th. Harmony picked it, I don't know why but she did. I didn't disagree though. It's not really a big deal at least to me. We should probably be there in about five minutes. We took the train and we're now walking.
Harmony: when was the last time you dyed your hair?
Amber: about three years ago.
Harmony: was it your first time?
Amber: nah the first time was when I was like 12.
Harmony: wow. My first time was when I was 13. But do you know what color you're doing?
Amber: probably pink or red I don't know. What about you?
Harmony: either styling it or I'm keeping it ombré but dying it lighter.
Amber: oh makes sense.
Five minutes later at the salon
There wasn't really anybody here which is really surprising cause usually on Sundays I see everybody trying to get their hair done if it's not on Saturday. One of the hairdressers came up to us speaking Spanish. I understood because I'm Spanish but Harmony didn't. I assumed cause she looked confused and said she doesn't understand.
Hairdresser: Hola ¿cómo estás hoy? (Translation: hello how are you today?)
Amber: Bien y tú. (Translation: good and you)
Hairdresser: Bueno. ¿qué puedo ayudarte? (Translation: good. What can I help you with?)
Amber: vamos a teñir el pelo. (Translation: we're going to dye our hair)
Hairdresser: ¿de qué color? (Translation: what color?)
Amber: Yo estoy haciendo la mía rosa o rojo y ella ...(translation: I'm doing mine either pink or red and she...) Harmony you're doing yours ombré?
Harmony: yeah.
Amber: que está haciendo la suya ombré. (Translation: she's doing hers ombre)
Hairdresser: okay. ella habla español? (Translation: she speaks Spanish?)
Amber: no. ella habla Inglés. (Translation: she speaks English)
Hairdresser: eso es todo? (Translation: that's it?)
Amber: Harmony you only speak English?
Harmony: English and French?
Amber: you're French?
Harmony: oui. et vous?(Translation:yes, how about you?)
Amber: no. But hold that thought. ella también es francés. (Translation: she's also French)
Hairdresser:impresionante. (Translation: Impressive) vienes conmigo y ella va a Sarah. ella sabe quién es. Armonía viene mucho por aquí. yo siempre creo que es español. (Translation: you come with me and she goes to Sarah. she knows who she is. Harmony comes here a lot. i always think she's Spanish.)
