I figured out that I'm probably going to update Saturday's, just because I get so busy during the week. Enjoy Chapter 2!

Charlotte's POV

I am awoken by Elle, who annoyingly jumped on my bed until I sat up, and shoo her out of the room so I can get dress. Having taken a shower last night, I just put on a Nike tank, grey joggers, and black Nike shoes, and toss my hair up in a messy bun (picture). I leave my room, tap on Elle's door as I walk towards the stairs.

"I'm going to go down and grab something to eat." I say, loud enough for Elle to hear me, then descend the stairs when I hear her say ok. I reach the end of the stairs and walk into the kitchen, going straight for the fridge.

As I open the fridge, I hear one of my family members enter the room and sit at the counter, dragging the stool out to sit on.

"Are you cooking anything? 'Cause I can't find mom and I'm starving." Tye lays his head on the counter and sighs.

"Have you ever thought about making food for yourself? It's not that hard. What are you going to do when you leave, huh?" I question him, pulling out smoothie mix from the freezer.

"I'm going to be living with someone else. Hopefully he will be a good cooker. Unless I decide to go to London and play for them, that would be cool." He points at me, head raised, and smiles.

"Your thinking about going to play for London, now? I thought it was always Minnesota this, Minnesota that. What are you going to do there? You barely have any money, the currencies are different, they even drive on the opposite side of the road, for goodness sake!" I take out the blender from the cupboard. I grab scissors from the drawer and cut open the package.

"I'll be fine. Maybe you could come with me?" He looks at me with innocence, smiling smugly. "If two of us want to go, then how can mom and dad say no? We'll be living together, and I'll be so busy with hockey, I won't have time to do anything else. Your not even doing anything like college! Just come with, it'll be fun, I promise."

"Who said I wasn't going to college? Look, if mom and dad say yes to just you going, then I'll come with. But if you ask them, you can't include me in the question. Understand?" I had now gotten the package open and plugged in the blender, getting ready to make my smoothie.

"Understood. I'll wait till I find them. When they say yes, can I ask if you can come with?" He stood up and walked towards me.

"Yeah, I guess. Now go away so I can make my smoothie." He offers a hug and I accept. We stay like that for a few seconds, then pull away and he runs up the stairs back to his room.

When he's gone, I turn the blender on, and begin making the smoothie. After I unplug it, I realize that Elle has come down the stairs and is in the living room.

She was watching highlights of Jon's game last night, and a few of them were of him, throwing the ball or running a good play. I take my smoothie mix out and leave it in the cup to eat it from there.

"Hey Elle, I'm ready when you are." She turns around and smiles, standing up and walking to the front door. "I take were leaving now?"

She nods and twists the door handle. Outside it's a warm summer day and our neighbors are up and about, doing whatever they please. I see the Kopper's across from us are getting their boat ready to go boating.

Man, I wish we were going boating. Mrs. Kopper catches me staring and waves. I smile and wave back.

I open my truck door and start the car. "We're picking Kelly up, right?" I look at her for a split second and turn back to the road.
