Charlotte's POV

"Okay guys! That's the last few, but Clay and I have got the rest that come in," Quinn had suddenly appeared and was walking away from the front door.

Tyler applauded for her, at which she had curtsied, and Clay laughed. Jaz had already gone home.

"Hey Charlie," Mason and Tyler stopped once Quinn had gone to the staff room, and Clay had disappeared behind the kitchen doors, "Tyler and I were going to go have dinner, you wanna come?"

"Let me check in with my brother Tye. I'll be right back," I walked back into the staff room, where my phone and shirt were in my locker.

Opening the locker, I pulled out my phone and shirt, then decided not to change. I'll do that when I get home.

I unlocked my phone, seeing that I didn't have any notifications to worry about, then went to the call app. I clicked on Tye's contact, then put my phone to my ear, waiting to hear Tye's voice.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tye, I was just wondering what your up to?"

"I'm at home, I've been here all day."

"Okay, well I'm going to go out to eat with some co-workers. What me to bring you something back?"

"Nah, I'll just order pizza."

"Okay, by."

"Bye."

I hang up the phone, shut my locker, then proceed to walk to the front. Tyler and Mason were waiting by the door, Tyler on his phone and Mason just staring outside.

"We're we eating?" I walked toward them, stopping once I got in front of them.

"Just some burger shop down the road," Mason held the door open for Tyler and I. We both walked outside, Mason shortly following us.

"I kind of walked here," I stopped on the sidewalk, not really knowing how I would get to where we were going.

"I drove Tyler and I," Mason wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "You can ride with us, and I'll give you a ride home from there."

"Okay," Mason, Tyler, and I walked to were Mason's car was parked, and Mason unlocked it.

"Hop in," Mason jumped into the drivers seat.

"Shot gun," Tyler ran forward toward the passengers seat.

I followed, but quickly became confused. "Is Tyler driving?"

"No, I'm driving, remember?" I opened my car door to find Mason behind the wheel, but on the opposite side of the car.

"Oh," realization has hit me. "You guys drive on the left side. Forgot about that."

"Yeah, but I'm sure you'll get used to it soon," Mason pulled out of his parking spot, then got onto the main road. It wasn't that busy, seeing that it was at least 10:30.

We drove in a comfortable silence, with nothing but the radio playing softly in the background. Soon enough, we reached a small burger joint and Mason parked on the side of the road.

"This is my friend's dad's restaurant. He should still be here," Mason locked the car once everyone had gotten out.

We walked half way across a small front lawn, before a medium sized man with a black beard came speed walking toward Mason.

"Oh! Mason!" The man had reached Mason and was grasping him tightly. "It's been a long, long time. Where have you been?"

"I've just been here and there. Just got back from Australia," Mason and the man lead Tyler and I into the restaurant. "This is Tyler and Charlie: some new friends of mine."
