Charlotte's POV

I didn't realize how long I had been standing and staring at the fridge for, until Tyler walked in.

"Charlie? You alright, mate?" I turned around to face him, quite suddenly, startling him slightly.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I smiled. "Just thinking."

"You've been thinking for a while, you have four more people at that table you were serving," Tyler jabs his thumb behind him, towards the hallway. "They look like they just came from a football match, too. Might want to hurry."

"Really?" Tyler nods, "Okay, I'll get on that."

Tyler holds the door open for me, following me out afterwards. I grab my notepad, walking to the table that had doubled since I was last there.

"So sorry for the wait, drinks?" I looked around the table, seeing Simon and his friend, but my eyes also land upon JJ and Ethan, plus a black haired boy and the same boy Simon was chasing the other day.

"No problem, Charlie," JJ smiled up at me, then the new comers all order their choice of drinks.

"I'll bring them right out," I smile, gather Simon and the other boy's empty plates, and return to the kitchen.

"Two waters, Sprite and Dr. Pepper, Jaz," I walk past Jaz, putting the empty plates next to Clay, who was working the sink today.

"Hey Lee," Clay turned the sink back on, putting soap in to make the water soapy.

"Lee? Interesting," I take note of this new nickname, making sure to remember that I can respond to it know.

"Well, I just thought that being called 'Charlie' or whatever your full name is must get annoying. So, yes. Lee," Clay shrugs his shoulders.

"My full name is Charlotte, and yours is Clayton?" I ask.

"Yeah, but don't call me that. I hate that name," Clay scrunched up his face in disgust.

"Okay. Hmm. I'll call you Tony," I smile proudly. "You know- Clayton, ton, Tony."

"I've never had anyone call me that, but okay," Clay shrugs again.

"Drinks are ready!" Jaz calls from the front of the kitchen where the drink machine sits.

"Okay!" I call back to him. "See you later Tony."

Patting Clay on the back, I took the drinks from Jaz, put them on a tray, and walking out of the kitchen. I walked back to the table, making sure not to spill anything.

After setting the drinks down, I pulled my notepad out again, "Okay, what would you guys like to eat?" I took JJ, Ethan, and the other boy's orders again. "And would you like dessert? Drink refills?"

"Yes please," the boy that came with Simon say straight up in his chair. "Can I have ice cream?"

"Sure," I smiled as the table laughed at the boy's childish behavior.

"I'd just like a refill," Simon draws my attention away from the boy, and looked rather mad or upset even.

"Okay, I'll be right back," I smiled at the group around the table, then grabbed Simon's glass.

I walked back into the kitchen, shouting their orders to Jaz and refilling Simon's drink myself. After doing so, I walked back to the table to drop off the drink.

"Hey wait! Stay a minute or two," JJ called out to me as I turned to leave again. After giving him a skeptical look, he added, "No one else is even here."
