After that day, Michael eventually asked Luke out on a date. They went to a little 50s themed diner near the school and then went to the movies to see a special showing of Grease. After a few more cute dates, Michael asked Luke to be his boyfriend. Mitchell was soon forgotten completely and Michael and Luke were happy together. They ended up being voted cutest couple in the year book, and on their graduation night, they lost their virginity to each other.
They took a break for a while so Luke could go off to school at Boston and so Michael could go to Sydney. On Luke's graduation, Michael arrived and proposed, which Luke said yes to immediately. They got married six months later and then moved to London 2 months after. Three years later, they adopted two kids, a 6 year old girl named Olive and a 3 1/2 year old boy named Louis. Now, they are still happily married with another daughter, Marcie, a cat, Pika, and a dog, Ivory.
