Jasmine
"Fuck!" Hayden yells abruptly as we stand inside of the abandoned building.
I flinch at his booming voice but don't comment. Grayson's men are gone, we were too late.
"Where the hell could they have gone?" Hayden asks himself angrily.
I walk over to him and stand on my tippy toes to try and get him to look at me. "Listen to me, it's going to be okay. I'm fine and maybe they aren't even after me like you thought." My hand remains on his chest.
"No, they are. All those letters all those threats. You killed their leader Jasmine of course they want revenge."
I pull my hand away at the mention of the murder. Hayden notices and his eyes quickly soften.
"I'm sorry Jazz, it's just I'm leaving next month and I know you're not coming." I freeze at his accusation.
I haven't given him an answer yet.
"I'm sorry." I whisper.
"No it's not your fault, I know how much singing means to you but I also know I won't be able to sleep knowing you'll be alone." He says and pulls me to his side looking down at me thoughtfully.
I smile, he cares about me and that's the best feeling in the world.
I lean up to kiss him and he doesn't hesitate, just pulls me closer and I feel my body get the usual tingly ignited sensation it always gets when Hayden touches me.
Only making me want more.
We are rudely interrupted by a Hayden's phone ringing, I feel him groan from the back of his neck signaling that he doesn't want to break our kiss.
I pull away and he sighs put answers any ways.
"What now?" He asks.
"Logan? What do you want now?" He asks confused.
"Okay I'm on my way." He ends the conversation quickly a small satisfied smirk on his lips.
"What's wrong?" I ask worriedly.
"Logan caught one of Grayson's guys trying to break into your room." Hayden says and I can see fire burning in his eyes.
"My room at your house?" I ask making sure my family were out of harms way.
"Yeah, now hurry lets go. I'm going to get this prick to tell me where the others are." He demands and I get into the car quickly.
"See your brothers not so bad." I add a small smile on my face.
Hayden looks over and notices, a scowl takes over his face. "He is not. I'm much better than that pretentious prick." He mumbles childishly.
I giggle, "Aw are you jealous?" I coo.
He scoffs, "Please of my brother? Hell no!"
I laugh but can't help but smile at the fact that he called Logan his brother instead of step brother like he used too.
