"Because I do care," He whispers and I can almost see the worry in his eyes as to how I will react.

I honestly don't know what to say I thought this little crush I had was a one way street. He's a fucking gang leader for crying out loud.

He can't really care or feel anything for me. Right?

"Say something, please" he pleads me.

"I-I don't know what to say really..." I whisper.

"It's not like I asked for your fucking hand in marriage for gods sake!" He says angrily.

"Don't get angry with me I didn't do anything!"

He scoffs. "Yeah you did, you come here 'concerned' for me yet when I say I care about you it's as if I asked you for your hand in fucking marriage!" He yells now.

"Well you just caught me off guard." I whisper.

"Why because I kissed you?"

"Yes, because you kissed me, I'm just some stupid little girl who you have around because you feel bad for me!" I say trying to make myself believe that he doesn't care and couldn't possibly.

Hopefully nothing, I don't think I could live like this. Always in danger or on the run, that's not for me.

That's not what I want for myself, or my family for that matter.

"It was just a kiss Jas, and that's not what you are to me..."

My heart clenches in my chest.

"Then what am I?"

He looks confused and flustered, which is rare for him. "I don't know..."

I scoff.

"God you're so frustrating" he mumbles.

I roll my eyes. "Look this was a mistake I should go..." I say and let out a soft sigh.

He grabs my wrist. "Don't walk away."

"What do you want from me?" I ask.

He sighs, "I'm sorry for getting angry"

I nod and wait for him to continue.

He doesn't.

"Why did you kiss me?" I ask

"Why did you kiss me back?" He retorts.

I chuckle. "Because I'm crazy..."

"Why's that?"

"I actually think I like you, but not just as a friend...." I whisper.

He puts his head down. "This isn't good..." I hear him mumble.

He's telling me.

"I'm really going to fucking regret this..." He mumbles once again.
