The madness (Leos and Devin's Story - Part 1) : Amnesia

Chapter 5: Leo

The boy finished laughing and looked at the boy, "Hey...thanks for helping." He grinned and sat up, he stood up and walked to the window to the kids crying and the nani's trying to dry them off.
"Well, a third cake ruined. Thanks to you. So...well, you made up for ruining it before. This was much better than bugs. Unless they ate it with the bugs." He stuck out his tongue like it was gross.
Devin gripped his bunny as the other boy seemed so trilled with doing something bad. Yet for some reason it didn't feel like something he wound not do. Maybe he was a bad kid an just could not remember it.
He smiled at the older boy " your welcomed ... Ummm ehat should I call you ...it's kind of hard not knowing what to call you ))

The boy shrugged, "I don't have a name...they just call me kid. Whatever. You don't need to learn my name...not like you'll be here long anyway." He plopped down onto the floor and looked at the boy. "Devin right?" He said not really remembering his name.

Devin pouted a bit " you must have a name I mean kid is so common...your not common, your like a lion... Always showing everyone who is boss and making the others run away scared " He said imitating a lions roar " I know, what about Leo ? " he said holding his bunny by its paw and letting it's bean bagged body hang on the floor " I think it would suit you and I never met a kid with that name" he said rolling his eyes.
" yes ! That's my name ! The tall man told me so ! " he said moving his hands up and down, as he suddenly stopped " oops I should act my age " he said shyly as he looked into the other boys eyes " ummmm can I ask what you mean when you say I won't be staying long ....do the nana's eat us or something " he said as his eyes widden in fear

"Leo?" He stopped think about it, he laughed as Devin made the lion noise. It was not scary at all. The name Leo did have a nice ring to it and maybe it was the tan skin but it seemed to fit himself well. Though he didn't agree on the name it became a silent agreement since he didn't deny it like all the rest.
He laughed again as he though the woman ate them. "If they did I would be gone a long time ago. They hate me." He said proudly, "no...adopted. Your nice and cute. You'll be picked for a family soon. Or maybe a few foster homes. Those are the people who wanna try you out and see how it goes to live with you." He shrugged, "I've been in toe foster homes. Always been sent home...didn't really want to be there anyway."

" but I have ame...amnesia...nobody will want me, specially since the ladies here keep saying that any day I could remeber everything and forget the me I am now" he said holding thighly into the bunnies paw " plus I don't have any special talents " he said shyly
Devin looked at the boy and smiled " but I don't want to go anywhere, I want to stay here with you ...or wait for the person that brought me to come back for me " he said smiling " he said I would see him again one day " he said sitting in the floor next to his new friend" when he comes I'll ask if he can take you too" he said smiling as he looked at the boys eyes " your eyes are like a lions eyes". For a moment he looked away as he blushed a little " so does that makes us friends ? " he asked

Leo sighed as he asked about being friends, he didn't really know how to answer that. He didn't want friends but it didn't seem like he was going to get rid of this boy any time soon. His golden eyes stared back at Devin and watched him turn away embarrassed and not completely sure why. "Ah...I don't know." He lift his hand and ran his fingers through his hair. "You don't even know me...why would you want to be my friend...and say such a stupid thing...even if he came back I seriously doubt he would want me anyway."
