That's my sister, right after I showed her my letter.
"Heather, no, I'm telling Professor Dumbledore -"
"No, please ! I want to go to Hogwarts ! I'll keep it a secret, no one will find out..." I said. I was so excited I got my letter.
Hermione studied me for a while before saying "okay then. But no one can find out that we're sisters. Not even Ron or Harry !". She stormed off to her room.
"What is her problem ?" I muttered to myself. Mummy and Daddy weren't to happy that I got my letter either.
Just because I was cursed, my parents treated me like I was garbage. Hermione on the other hand, she never wanted me as her sister. No one outside of this house, knows we're related. Even though my parents and sister dislike me (a lot) I still will love them with all my heart.
I walked into my room and shut the door behind me. I read my Hogwarts letter twice before stuffing it into my bag. I was getting ready to see my best friend, Tom Peterson. My parents didnt like it every time I see him. They don't know it but, I had already told Tom who I really was. He is my best friend after all.
I sneaked out the window in the kitchen and ran to the playground. That's where we always meet. I was to meet him in the slide.
"Tommy, you here ?" I asked. 'Tommy' was my nickname for him.
"Yup. What took you so long. I was here ten minutes ago."
" ten minutes isn't that long and I was too busy showing my letter around the house." I replied handing him my letter. He took a really long time to read it. "You know what's funny, I got the exact same letter. My parents are overjoyed !".
"You got a letter from Hogwarts too ? That's amazing, we'll always be together that way. "
"Yeah. The first of September is in four days. Did you get your wand, books, robe and cauldron yet ?" Tommy asked. "Because I did !" He added.
"I'm using my sister's things and robe." I replied.
"Really. But she's in the third year. Isn't her robe a little too big for you ?"
"Nope. I'm just a few inches shorter. "
"Want to go grab some corn dogs ?"
"Definitely !"
