I woke up with an ease feeling; my eyes roam around as I feel a gaze at my direction. I meet those grayish eyes that glow with so much adoration.

"Good morning, princess" he walks towards my bed. "Did you sleep well?"

I blush a bit as I saw how he stare at me. Why does he have to look at me like that? I nod my head to answer his question.

"That's great to know." He murmurs softly while patting my head. "Are you excited to get out here?" My eyes got widen at what he said, they'll letting me go. I nod my head giddily; I feel my cheeks heated up as I heard his laugh.

"So I am. I'm excited to introduce you to my pack." He beams at me. My brows furrowed as I heard it. What? Me introduce to his pack? For what? I thou--- oh my moon goddess! No!

I stare at him for almost a minute before I nod at him while I sob. He gave me a genuine smile.

After minutes of awkward silence, Pierce asks me if I want to walk back to the house seeing as it less than a half mile away from his house. I nod my head yes and we begin our walk out of the building.

As the sunlight strikes within us, it took me a minute to adjust myself and as the cold wind breeze my body shivers a bit since I'm wearing a cotton short and tee shirt that Cayenne had brought me last night.

I feel someone's gaze at me; I look over to see Pierce watching me worriedly and torn between, helping me or keeping his distance. After watching him struggling, I walk towards him and clinging my arm to his.

The smile he gave to me was so breathe taking that can make my legs jelly. It lights up his whole face and you can just feel the happiness radiating off him. I don't know why this small gesture of mine could make him like that? That's when I remember what Cayenne said about mates.

I would definitely look for some ways to figure it out later.

As we reach the house he's been talking, my eyes widen and my jaw almost reaches the ground. Is this the new definition of house? This is a freaking mansion! I let him lead the way inside got star struck at how the interior design of the house looks so magnificent.
