An Old Friend (chapter 7)

Selena's* point of view:

"Please go out and have fun!" My mom said and opened the windows of my room. "You can't spend the whole holidays, sitting on your bed with your laptop. Your brother told me, young people, probably your age are living in the old mansion for a few weeks. Sam is going to play volleyball with them at the beach. Please go with him!"

"Well!" I sighed and stood up. "If I have to." Mom smiled and went out of my room. "Thanks honey."

I changed into my darkblue-red spotted bikini and went upstairs. My brother already waited.

As we got there Sam greeted all the boys as if he had known them since I don't know, forever. I sat down on my towel and watched them playing. Six guys, who looked all quite good. But one of them was just... WOW.

He was really handsome. His green eyes were so shiny and his skin tanned. His hair looked fluffy and was dirty-blond. And he was hot, I mean really hot. I starred at this boy a few minutes. Sometimes he looked at me but then I pretended to only watch their game.

A bit later some girls came over. I knew the bikini, one of them wore. I bought it in London for my friend. She had the same long blonde hair like that girl.

"Selena!!" The girl screamed and ran to me. And suddenly I recognised her, it was actually Amy.

"Omg you wear that bikini!" I greeted her. "Yes." she smiled. The other girls also did. They all looked quite nice.

"Oh this is Selena! She moved away from London. We were best friends." Amy explained. "Hey I'm Emma but call me Em." the ginger haired said. I'm Kathryn said the other one with straight brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes. I already knew Lola, my brother's girlfriend.

We talked for a long time. The girls were all so nice and I realised how much I've missed Amy.

When the boys made a break, the other girls went to their boyfriends. So Amy and I had time to talk in private. She told me about Connor and Claire after our exchanges of I missed you's.

All couples watched the sunset together, which looked so romantic and made me want to snuggle up to hot guy's chest even more. After a while, he, Connor and another guy came over and sat down next to us. "Where is Claire?" Amy asked. I heard the undercurrent, but anyone else seemed to. "She is sick. A headache or something." Connor said.

"So don't you guys want to introduce us?" The dark haired guy asked. "Oh this is Selena. Selena, this is James and Ben." Amy said and pointed at the guys. James smiled at me and I smiled back.

It was much fun with these guys. Later we sat around a bonfire and James played the guitar. I sat next to him. His skin looked so soft in the orange light of the fire. We all sang and laughed until the mosquitos were too annoying. Bradley invited us to their house but my little brother said, our mother would worry so we said goodbye to everyone and went home.

I lay in my bed but I couldn't sleep. I saw him. James. Everytime I closed my eyes.

Amy's point of view:

James grandparents' house was massive. Every single one of us got an own room. Mine was small but very cute. My bed stood under a huge window. So the room was flooded with light. The furniture was old but very lovely. I felt like a princess in that room.
