Beach Miracle 2.0 (chapter 8)

Amy's point of view:

I went swimming in the sea yesterday and a fish bit my toe (A/N: that really happened to me! No one wanted to believe that, so I stopped telling...)

So I decited that I wouldn't go swimming into the sea ever again. Just into a pool without any fishes.

The past day was probably a good one for Sel. She and James finally got together. Okay, finally is maybe not the right word, they've known each other one day! Why the hell is everything so easy to anyone but me?

"Ahhgh" a scream took me out of my thoughts. It rumbled an a head appeared outside in front of my window.

"Do you want to go to the beach with me?"
Connor shouted. I opened the window to hear him better. "Claire is better but she doesn't want to do anything. So now I ask my best friend!" He grinned.

"Yeah I will come!" I anwered "But what did you do? Why did you scream?"

"Ha! that's kinda embarrassing. A bird crapped onto my head. I wanted to dodge but that didn't work. I fell over the garden chair and yeah..."

I had to laugh, only the imagination. "Poor little Connor. Do you want some hot tea to calm down or do you want a towel?" I asked, admiring the lovely bird shit in his hair.

"Take both and let's go to the beach!" He smiled this cute Connor-Smile.

So we went to the beach and sat down in the grainy sand.

It was warm but also a bit windy. I held the cup of tea, I've made before in my hands and we talked about some stuff and drank our tea.

"mmmh why is this tea so delicious? " Con asked after a while.

"Ha, this is German tea." I said proudly. "My grandpa gave it to me. It's called Sweet Kiss Tea." He laughed. "I'm the king of sweet kisses. I don't need a tea for that."

Connor began to remember...

"Sweetest kiss eveeer!" little Connor screamed and and ran to the kitchen. He grabbed some gummi bears and put them into his mouth. Then 'kissed' Amanda. He put his lips onto hers and shoved one gummi bear into her mouth. She giggled...

- End of flashback -

"Maybe!" I smirked and ran away. I still have no idea, why I did that.

But he followed me and of caurse cached up. He tickled me and I had to laugh once again. A slab appeared in front of us and he smiled. "Stay here! I have an idea." He went on it and started to sing:

I talk a lot of shit when I'm drinking baby...

He stopped and smiled at me. Then he cleared his throat and continued.

I normally go a little to fast. Don't mind all my friends I know they're all crazy but they're the only friends that I have. I know I don't know you but I'd like to skip the small talk and romance girl that's all I have to say so baby can we dance?

(A/N: I've written that, before they even released Can We Dance. I don't know if there are any mistakes in the lyrics but even if, I wouldn't change that, this is what I thought the lyrics were like, as I just heard it on live YouTube videos. Sorry for my stolidity but y'know...)

He extended his hand towards mine to ask me to dance. I put my hands around his neck and he did the same with my waist. We danced to dumb music and I had to smile the whole time because it was such an awkward situation. But it felt good anyways. So good.

In my opinion we could've done that for hours but a scream interrupted us after a few minutes. A girl ran away. I could only see her blonde wavy hair flutter but Connor knew excactly who that was. Claire. He excused himself and ran after her.

I fell down in the sand and started crying. I put my arms around my knees and placed my head on them. I cried and cried. This was the first time, I was that weak. I couldn't abide that anymore.

The guy I loved running after another stupid girl. That was too much for me. He probably gives her a reconciliation kiss right now. Maybe he says something like 'I love you and only you' to her. I thought.

I can't remember how long it took but I finally lifted my head up. I couldn't believe what I saw. It was Connor. He sat there towards me and starred on his shoes.

"Con?" I croaked. He looked up into my eyes. I felt another annoying tear on my cheek. Then cleared my throat. "What are you doing here? How long did you sit there?" I stood up and felt the weakness in my bones. "Claire broke up with me." He said and stood also up. "She thought there is something more between us."

"Oh I'm sorry." I said and wanted to hug him. He really needed this. No matter that I decided to avoid him a few minutes ago.

But he stopped me. "No Amy."

"Maybe she thought that because there is something between us." He said shyly, looking at the ground. I made a step forward to him. Now he looked into my eyes. "I love you, Amanda." he whispered. "More than a best friend." I smiled and then everything went so fast. His hands on my waist were pulling me closer. I closed my eyes and felt his lips onto mine. Our lips moved in synch, which actually is such a cliché sentence but it really was like that. It was a long deep kiss and I felt butterflies everywhere in my body. That was the best feeling I've ever had.

Connor grinned and kissed my nose tip. "And now babe! We're going to swim!" I didn't want to tell him the story with the fish so I said "I don't feel like swimming today." and kissed him again. I couldn't get enough of that. "Oh babe! You will swim!" he yelled while throwing me over his shoulder and running straight into the freezing cold sea. I let out a scream as he did so. I pushed him under water as revenge. He dived and suddenly appeared behind me. "Whoa!" he yelled and made a weird face. I wanted to laugh but I got water in my mouth so it just came out as "grigglelagrigg" He grinned. "Did you just say I love you?"
