 **HARRY’S POV**

I don’t have anything to do with myself.

I sleep, hunt, run, and that’s it. I don’t think that I have talked to the boys in a while, but I don’t want to. I don’t want to get another hug; I don’t want another hand squeeze or another ‘reassuring’ comment like

Everything is going to be okay

Don’t worry

You still have us

I step outside and the cool fall breeze hits my face. I am going exploring.

I never go to far though.

I was thinking about just leaving them behind. Making them part of my past, people that I will probably forget in a few years. But I decided I don’t want to leave Jade.

I know that we should bury her or something, but none of us can bring ourselves to go back there.

I keep running until I pick up a familiar scent.

Liam.

I run in the direction and then stop in my tracks when I see him sitting on the ground looking out onto a lake.

I come and sit down next to him.

“I never knew this place existed.” I say

“I did. This was our spot.” He said looking out at the water.

I give him a questioning look. “Your spot?” I ask

“Me and Hope. We used to come here.” He answers. “She-she um… she went home today.” He says ripping out some grass and playing with it.

“I’m so sorry.”

He laughs a little. “Well I guess it was bound to happen right? I mean, what did I think? She was going to comeback and live with me? Sleep in my bed again? I mean, she came to kill me!”

“You deserve someone better then that.” I say.

Liam picks up his hand and lets the grass fall back onto the ground. “But we don’t get anyone better right? We don’t get anyone else. We got one chance and we ruined it. Now we are the mate less losers.” He says.

After he realizes what he said he turns his head to look at me, now I am the one looking out at the lake.

“I’m sorry,” he says putting his arm around my back.

“No, your right.” I say.

He sighs. “We still have each other.” He says trying to reassure me.

I turn and look into his chocolate brown eyes.

They look just like Jade’s.

I quickly lean in and put my lips on his.

At first he is shocked but then he surprisingly goes with it.

He uses the arm around my back to pull me in closer to him.

I know it’s not Jade but it feels better then nothing. I am just so desperate for love that I am kissing my best friend.

I pull back and refuse to look at him.

“I-I’m sorry.” I say

“It’s okay.” He whispers laying back. “I needed somebody to do that. It has been five years.”

I laugh a little bit

“It did feel good.” I say

Liam looks up at me
