Percy POV:
"Hello, you must be Perseus. I am Albus Dumbledore, and I am here to take you to Diagon Alley in order to buy your school supplies."
I stared at the man. He looked very old, with a long white beard and half moon spectacles. He also wore what looked like a long, dark purple dress. I soon got over my shock; being a New Yorker, I had seen far stranger people. Gathering my composure, I said, "it's just Percy, and why are you going to take me diagonally?"
"Not diagonally," the man chuckled. "Diagon Alley. It is a magical place where you can buy all of your magical school supplies."
"Oh," I groaned. "So we'll actually need to study. I thought that part was a joke." Dumb-as-a-door chuckled softly and offered me his arm. "You will need to hold on to my arm in order to apparate." I obeyed and suddenly felt as if all my blood was draining to my face, and I was being squeezed through a tube. It was worse than shadow travel, but better than the river Cocaytus, so I would be fine. We landed, and I immediately stood up from my crouch that I had (most embarrassingly) fallen into when we landed.
Dumb-a-door, no, Dumb-as-a-door, no, Dunderbore, no, Dumbledore! That was it, Dumbledore stared at me for as second in shock. Feeling utterly confused, I did the most Percy-like thing. I waved my hand in front of his face and said, "Yoo-hoo! Anyone in there? Are you all right?" Dumbledore seemed to be startled out of his reverie and turned to look sat me, "what?" He asked, "oh, oh yes, I am all right. You just recovered a little quicker than the average person." I frowned. "You forget I am not the average person." Dumbledore decided that was a good place to discontinue the conversation and quickly changed the subject.
"I understand that you are older that the average student, but you will be joining the Fifth Years this year," Dumbledore said. "You will pretend to be a student from Delphi's School for the Magically Gifted. This will explain your superior knowledge on most subjects." I nodded and pretended that I wasn't worried about trying to pull wool over the eyes of the students, as I wasn't the best at acting. As if sensing my thoughts, Dumbledore reassured me.

The next thing I knew, Dumbledore escorted me into a grimy bar, and took me into a dirty alleyway. I was confused because there were no shops to buy supplies at. Then, he whipped out a stick and tapped a combination of bricks. I gasped as the bricks parted to show a bustling street filled with mismatched shops and people in robes. At the end was a huge marble building with intricate pillars and giant gold doors.
"That is Gringotts, the wizarding bank," Dumbledore stated.
"Annabeth...would've loved this." I said, my voice cracking. Dumbledore clearly felt very awkward in this situation, and just patted me on the back.
We entered the bank and I couldn't help but notice a warning sign against stealing. I wondered exactly what was inside this bank that was so dangerous.
As we stepped inside, the first thing I noticed was the architecture. The second thing I noticed was the small, hairy, long eared creatures that seemed to be running the bank. "Goblins," Dumbledore explained. He then turned to a goblin. "Vault 307 please." Dumbledore stated. The goblin beckoned with its long pointy fingers, and we got in a mine cart. Even with my blessing, I was uncomfortable in my uncle's domain, and memories of Tartarus further intensified my fear. I spent the entire underground ride to my vault gripping my seat tightly.

When we finally stepped out into the light of day, I let out a sigh of relief. Our next few stops weren't particularly noteworthy, at least for a demigod. I got my school books custom ordered in Ancient Greek, potions supplies, cauldrons, telescopes, scales, and a couple other miscellaneous things. My last stop, I would take care of the day, and that was the wand shop. Then I walked to my newly booked room in the pub 'The Leaky Cauldron'.
