Still Harry's POV:
I warily crept down the hallway after the retreating figure. I peeked out around the corner, just in time to see Snape brush past the figure, with his wand ablaze with light, offering up no more greeting than a clipped "Hello, Jackson." It was then that I realized who the figure was! It was Percy! But why wasn't he getting in trouble for roaming the hallways after curfew?
Shaking my head in confusion, I trailed after him as quietly as possible through the corridors. I stopped short as Percy came to a dead standstill in front on the massive front entrance. He heaved the doors open with ease and stepped through, with me just barely slipping through behind him.
We kept walking, and when we reached the lake, he turned around and said, "Harry, I know you have been following me. Unveil yourself." He sounded tired, and sad, so unlike his usual tough self that I was taken aback. I cautiously slid off my invisibility cloak and let it slide onto the ground.
