Okay, so, we were supposed to do birthday skits, but honestly I thought that was pretty lame. I'm actually not sure what to think of this one, but there are better ones later. . (For the record, Emma and Holly, I typed that line at about 6:00 AM. Cut me some slack) Sooo... yeah. Tell me what you think. (Oh yeah, and this one was one of those ones that made a lot more sense after we cut it. Um, sorry about that.)

Grandma: Now Beatrice dear-

Tris: It's Tris

Narrator: She continued,

Grandma: now dear, on the count of three we are going to burst into sitting room and sing happy birthday to your grandpa. Now don't forget to pick up the box

Narrator: Beatrice eyed the large box of lamps warily, and sighed

Tris: Are we REALLY giving him a box of old lamps?

Narrator : Grandma brushed this off for the upteenth time.

Grandma: Yes, dear. The sitting room is so dark, he needs them in there

Narrator: Grandma peeked her head around the doorway

Grandma: Okay, now, on the count of three. One, two, three!

Narrator: Beatrice sighed again and pushed herself around to her grandmother with fake enthusiasm.

Tris/Grandma: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Narrator: Grandpa almost fell off of his chair in surprise, and the duo lances into song

Tris/Grandma: Happy birthday to y9u, happy birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Robbie/Grandpa. Happy birthday to you!

Narrator: There was a shocked silence, and grandma tried to patch it up.

Grandma: Cha cha cha

Narrator : Beatris was disgusted

Tris: *Groans *

Narrator;: Grandpa finally smiled

Grandpa: my birthday was last year. I'm afraid you're a little late

Narrator: lovingly,  Grandma responded to this ages old joke

Grandma : Oh, it will be ok. We got you some lamps

Narrator : Grandpa took the box of lamps onto his lap and looked inside

Grandpa: These are lovely dear

Narrator: Beatris, who had been watching this interplay with growing repulsion, finally broke the cozy atmosphere

Tris: Can I go now?
