Okay, so we spent about a month doing these really fun "directing projects". At the very beginning, Ms. Hall gave us each a packet with three anonymous scenes. I say anonymous because there were no stage directions, just lines. It looked something like this:
Character: **** **** ***
Character: **** **** ***
Character: **** **** ***
Character: **** **** ***
We got in groups of five or six, and one at a time we took turns being the director. We picked a scene, and created something out of it. We had to use ALL of our actors and ALL of the lines. We had to have a clear beginning and ending before and after the lines, but no lines added. We got some REALLY creative stuff out of this.
For the next three parts I'm going to copy down each anonymous scene, and then just tell you my favorite of the stuff I saw done with them. Sooo... yeah. Enjoy!
